If I could leave less than 1 star I would leave less for Dr Wimer. I was discharging from the hospital, normal clothes put back on and bag on my shoulder, discharge paperwork in my hands. I asked what I could take for the headache I still had since I was already on an anti-inflammatory, and I normally would take ibuprofen. The Dr said I didn’t need to be in a hurry to leave, and that “Let’s see what I felt like in a couple of hours, and that I could still discharge.” I agreed to sit down. 15-20 minutes later the nurse came in and said she was putting an IV in me. I said I am discharging but just sitting down for a little while with the headache before I left. The nurse said that the doctor said I was staying another night. I told the nurse that this is not what I was told by the doctor. This may not be a review of her medical skills, but it is of her character and people skills and was passive aggressive. It definitely upset me and caused an extra night of billing for a hospital stay.
