Dr. Ellis does not spend any time to hear out the patient. I left wondering what was the point even the assistant I could not get a word in.

Inhumane
After a few visits with Dr. Ellis and no help with his injury Dr. Ellis suggested my husband to do the PRP procedure in which they take your own plasma and inject it into your problem area to promote healing (this is still considered experimental and not covered by insurance) my husband went ahead with it. When dealing with something like this, multiple doctors have told me that they inject the area to numb it because it is extremely painful. Dr.Ellis didn’t numb my husband and continued to poke my husbands already torn tendon with a needle and move it back and forth without any pain relief. My husband almost passed out in the office and the nurse kept apologizing. It is protocol to numb when having this done. I’ve NEVER seen this man cry until he came home from his procedure. They sent him home with nothing for pain and closed immediately after. This should have never of happened and wasn’t what they discussed prior to the procedure. There’s no excuse.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ellis for many years. He has been giving me injections in my knees and always takes all the time I need to answer any questions I might have. He will always refer me to someone else if I have a question about another area. Dr. Ellis is a real asset to OAK Orthopedics!

Dr Ellis is very knowledgeable and took alot of time in addressing my injury. I am currently in therapy but his diagnosis and prognosis have been "spot on". VERY good ortho doctor!!!
