Dr. Candido is an excellent professional. I arrived at the clinic without knowing what was happening with my health, and he reached my diagnosis (chronic myeloid leukemia). The doctor was very accurate with my treatment, and in just 6 months, I obtained my first undetectable lab result. I am very grateful to him and his team, who from the first day made me feel confident in their hands and were kind; they are professionals who know what they are doing. Thank you, Dr. Candido Rivera.

Very unprofessional wouldn't recommend
Let me just say my dad is a doctor and I have found that there are several types of doctors including this one that are insensitive to new patients . My daughter only 33 years old came in with stool in her intestines. He came into the surgery prep room screaming at my daughter telling her she has 30 days remaining to live. Let's agree it's not best practice to stress out a potentially new patient with your going to die tactics on you're first interaction. It was so bad that the entire staff had to remove this doctor from prep area as he was causing unnecessary stress to my daughter as she awaited emergency surgery. Sick individuals want a true kind hearted doctor to educate the patients wether it's fatal or nonfatal illnesses. His lack of empathy and inconsiderate words scared my daughter. Which elevated her anxiety that could of caused a heart attack. When you meet patients its a doctors hippocratic oath to do no harm them your interest is helping even if you can't save them.

Highly recommend
Dr Rivera is hands down the best doctor I have ever been to. He has every characteristic someone would want in a doctor. Kind, intelligent, compassionate…he takes his time and makes sure to answer all your questions. He doesn’t treat you like just another patient he has to see for the day.

Excellent experience with Dr. Rivera, exceptionally knowledgable in the field of Hematology. He was the only one to correctly diagnosed my rare blood platelet disorder - D 69.1. He listens to his patients, views your complete medical history, does extensive testing to ensure an accurate diagnosis.

When I first went to Dr. Rivera 14 years ago my doctors were stumped as to what was wrong with me. After 3 hours into a 30 minute appointment he told me what was wrong. He did days of tasers to confirm it. He is fantastic!!
