I was referred to Dr. Yip for thyroid nodules and a mass that's pushing on my vocal cords. I have lost my voice due to the mass. Currently going on 22 days. Dr. Yip suggested I rest my voice and hydrate as much as possible. She states my voice will return. She then prescribed antibiotics. When asked why, she stated the loss of voice is due to an allergy. No concern was brought up about the mass or thyroid nodules. I have since found another ENT provider and was quickly diagnosed with thyroid and throat cancer.
