Dr. Candice Daneshvar, MD

My experience with Dr. Candice Daneshvar was very disappointing. I am sharing my experience with all women to make sure they are proactive when voicing their concerns to their doctor and needs are not met, then they should immediately seek help from another physician. During my visit with the doctor she dismissed my concerns out of hand. I was adamant about getting an annual mammogram and she replied 'You don't need one. You are too young and it is not accurate.' I relayed I had been getting mammograms for five years and a previous doctor who referred me and my medical records was also clear about my getting scans every six months. She dismissed my concerns and said 'I think you're fine.' I returned to my long time doctor and paid for the visit. She ordered a more advance mammogram and found stage 2 breast cancer and could have been found earlier if that doctor had simply listened to my concerns and it led to dealing with a medical problem. DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

This doctor and the office is all about the money and playing dumb when it comes to the billing process of overcharging. Very shady and should be reported to the medical board in my opinion as it seems they are continuously doing this to many patients. They charged me for a test that they didn't report to the insurance company and are demanding I pay more for standard lab work now. Please look at doctor reviews and chose an OBGYN that has good reviews and is a doctor for the right reasons, not in it to pocket money from innocent patients.

I went to Dr. Daneshvar last year in June for what was supposed to be a yearly pap smear screening. A month later, I received a bill for over $300. I have a very good PPO insurance so I knew this could not be correct. After a lot of research and several call to my insurance, I found out that her office had billed my insurance incorrectly for something completely different, without telling me. Best I've ever had. She is cool, makes me feel comfortable and at ease through painful procedures

A horrible experience. Very unprofessional front office, changed their story on what coverage they accepted after charging us over $2100 on our first visit. My pregnant wife left their office in tears today. Very disappointed.
