Dr Hobson removed a tube from my ear, she said if the hole closed she put a tube back in. In a wk the hole had closed I could tell by the way my voice sounded to me and the diminished hearing. In 2 more wks when I returned to her I had a low grade fever. She would not put in a tube, said I didn't "have that much fluid" behind my ear drum. She also said since I had a fever I shouldn't even be there as they don't treat sick patients. WHAT?? 2 days later I saw my ENT, who did a tympanogram and said yes I did have fluid. He perforated the ear drum with a knife and aspirated a lot of fluid, and took a culture. Put me on antibiotics for 2 weeks, the culture came back Staph. After I finished the antibiotics, he put a tube back in my ear. Thankfully my ear is good now, no pain, no fever, and I can hear again, no thanks to Dr Hobson!!!

I came to see Dr. Hobson after seeing a general ENT elsewhere. I have been having issues that no one can seem to figure out, but Dr. Hobson took a lot of time to get to the bottom of my problems. She listened to my history, answered questions, and was extremely thorough. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and intelligent ear specialist (especially after seeing a horrible ENT) go to her. Would highly recommend! Thanks!
