Glad I Found Dr Waisbren
Since we recently moved to the area, I was looking for an internist. Someone mentioned Dr Waisbren on a neighborhood website so I checked him out. While all other local internists were either not accepting new patients or had a literal 4 month wait for an appointment, Dr Waisbren’s website allowed me to book a new patient visit within weeks of my request. Dr Waisbren is not only an internist but a cardiologist as well and is board certified in both. After making my appointment, I spoke with the office staff several times. Each time, they have been pleasant and helpful. My appointment with the doctor himself was great. He asked appropriate questions regarding my past health, listened to my concerns and generally was just very reassuring and calming. I’m very glad to have stumbled across that mention of him on the neighborhood website and will be recommending him to other family and friends.

Very nasty office help
Office manager is less than professional , and very rude. Dr. does not accept criticism of his office staff, and his solution is to get rid of patients instead of the attempting to rectify problem within his office. Dr. presents self as caring about patient until there is a problem then becomes very nasty .

Dr Bud has almost 50 years experience and I was told by a very experienced elderly healthcare provider that be even went back to school to further his education. He is Very Thorough with the care of his patients. People have to wise up and appreciate being an independent is not common, but is always recommended by most physicians. If you have concerns, you can call his cell. He works well with some of the best specialists. As with all doctors/ dentists ect. they have a ton of patient files, so be smart and always keep track of your own files as well. Misunderstandings are made by us all.

Horrible
I thought he was the best doctor in the world for the first year but then I got headaches with brain fog forgetfulness I would forget where I was what I was doing why I was there ear ringing, off-balance and spine tingling sensations and he thought it was from lymes so he sent me to a lymes specialist 3 of them and they didnt think lymes and said to send me to a neurologist, he refused to do,nine months. so i finally I gave up and went to the hospital and thank god got a referral. so I was finally able to see a neurologist. he gave me amovig which hasn’t cured me but it at least took away 50% of the symptoms as of today. to think I suffered for 9 months when he just had to drop his, mr. know it all ego and give me a referral. To top that of my new dr. Are worried about how long i was on antibiotics from him witch i was on them for 9 months multiple a day. No dr. Know what i have i just hope i stay getting better because i was getting suicidal after the 1st 3months all cuz of this dr.

Patient many years.
I love Dr. Waisbren and his office. It is very easy to get an appointment whenever I need to see the Doctor. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. They go out of their way to be helpful. Dr. Waisbren manages my care and ensures that my preventive care is done every year. He listens to my concerns and educates me on my physical problems. I can reach him directly after hours. That is unheard of.

Great doctor, I have been his patient since he opened his practice. I have been seeing doctors at Temple University Hospital and he works well with them and I get a better experience from this collaboration. Yes he has his own testing facility for what are basic health check ups. If your insurance doesn’t cover some of them tell them that and decline that test. As a patient I and you have some responsibility for what insurance covers. Maybe the real question is why don’t other doctors test basic health. Your hearing, balance, breathing and a running record of EKG is important. I don’t have to run around to see other doctors unless he finds a problem. He does listen and answer questions put to him. If I don’t understand the answer I tell him and get further information that I understand. He send patients to specialist for areas that are outside his experience. He is professional and likable with a super friendly staff. Five starts don’t even cover the high rating I would give.

Dr. Waisbren, Let me first thank you for NOT doing you medical diligence when treating my fiance. In late February we met with you for his anxiety and depression. During which appointment we told you of his struggles with addiction in the past and currently. You prescribed him two medication WHICH he never picked up because they were not to his liking. This week (4/14/2020) OVER THE PHONE he asked you to switch his medication to a NARCOTIC and you did. He has struggled with this specific drug in the past and ALMOST DIED! I am appalled at the fact that a DOCTOR would do such a thing. I am even more appalled that after trying to reach you through your RUDE office staff I have not received a call back. I am writing your office to let you know that your poor treatment practices have not gone unnoticed.

Gives tests in his own testing center so he can bill you twice and Medicare does not cover some of them as they are considered routine & unnecessary. A doctor who picks and chooses his patients based on the tests they let him perform is in my opinion not a caring doctor and he does not like when you bypass him and find a specialist on your own. Instead of giving me the healthcare he went to school for he sent me a letter saying he is withdrawing from being my doctor and I should find another Dr.

Went for appt was told would not be seen in office again as I didn't get his long list of test done. Well I got sick for 2 weeks from first visit here then daughter was hurt dealing with 4 drs and workers comp for this so never made testing. Which had nothing to do with why I went there. Was told irresponsible, sorry called being a MOM! He is ignorant, rude, and test happy. Wouldn't recommend this dr unless you got deep pockets for all test he likes to order for nothing.. Can't give no stars.

I was a patient of Dr. Weisbren I have chronic kidney disease and I am on dialysis. The doctor terminated me because I did not go to the GI doctor of his choosing because I had to have surgery he said me having surgery was just an excuse not to go to the appointment and that the his GI appointment was more important than my surgery even though I need dialysis to live. He was my pain management as well he stopped writing my scripts and said it wasn't his problem I couldn't get in pain management

He has taken a genuine and thorough approach in my overall care. He collects your info from outside dr's and labs, etc, reviews it, sends you a copy with his signature showing he has reviewed it , and goes over it when he sees you in person. He listens, cares, and I felt he has been very competent. He has been very good with our friends too.

I was a patient of doctors from 2008 to 2016. I received a letter the other day terminating my care with doctor and I have no idea why? The only reason I can think of is that I have several other specialty doctors and dr wais bran wanted me to give up the other doctor so he could be primary caregiver. As the old adage says don't put all your eggs in one basket. I do believe that he is a very confident and I had confidence in him when I was under his care.

I had been Dr, Waisbren's patient since 2012 for COPD but was treated by his nurse practitioner, Melissa Trout. When she set up her own office, I went with her. Because she has contracted cancer and closed her office, I recently returned (5/4/16) to him only to be told by an office staff member that Dr. Waisbren dropped me as a patient 2 years ago because of a letter I had supposedly written to a local newspaper.. I was told that he disagreed with what I said. Is that professional? Ethical?
