I have seen Dr Watabe for various reasons, including a high risk pregnancy. He has always been thoughtful, informative, sensitive to my overall needs regarding family planning and miscarriages. Throughout the high risk pregnancy, Dr Watabe was very careful & concerned. I was on bed rest for 3 months and he was very watchful and delivered the baby via c-section. It was my third & best delivery, thanks to Dr Watabe's thorough understanding, calm demeanor, judgement in a stressful situation.

I had heard a lot of great things about Dr. Watabe. But now that I have had a horrible experience I have asked around more and have actually found quite a few people with horrible experiences as well. He is super friendly but very procedural, does not listen to the mother's requests and when it comes down to it he does not seem to have a lot of knowledge about complications. I like some of the other doctors in the office but I will never go there again because Watabe could be on call.
