Dr. Shouse and his staff took great care in MY care. He did a biopsy to make sure I had skin cancer and he took the time to explain what would/could happen next. I was still very nervous but he helped me through the procedure. I would return to Dr. Shouse if I ever needed to and I will recommend him to my friends.

I visited Capital Surgery and Dr. Shouse as a consult for a hernia repair and a pending colonoscopy. He seemed very much uncrushed and answered all of my questions. We talked about options and the potential differences in outcomes. He gave me a lot of confidence that he could could do the procedures but he was also interested in my wishes and NOT arrogant and acting like he knew all of the answers. I answered "Good" on the scheduling of urgent appointments but I did NOT request anything urgent. Scheduling of my regular appointment was easy and was only a few days away.
