Dr. Pereira was professional and compassionate.
Dr. Pereira was very compassionate and took the time to explain the recommended treatment options. He reviewed the MRI and X-Ray answering all of our questions. Dr. P did a L2 kyphoplasty and the surgery went well. I chose him because he treated my husband, 2022, after a stroke. We will continue to recommend Dr. Pereira.

My husband suffered a serious brain bleed after a fall, while on Plavix. Dr Pereira saved his life. Later, another doctor told me that my husband had only a 2% chance of surviving. Dr "P" kept a vigilant eye on him. When he developed another bleeder and a clot, Dr "P" immediately did another surgery, and though we are still going thru this recovery process, my husband can speak, walk, and is at 80% - 1 month out from his original ordeal. He has some deficits, but not as much as we all expected. With continued therapy, and time, we expect him to recover as much as 95%, if not more. We are from the Chicagoland area, and we were volunteering at a scout camp when my husband banged up his head... We are planning on continuing with Dr Pereira, over others, and have the utmost faith in him.

I could not say enough great things about this man. He is an outstanding Surgeon. My husband had lost all movement in his Left arm and I had rushed him to ER. Dr. Pereria was there and took over. He had surgery the next day. Within 10 days my husband had 75% of his movement back. My husband had two broken disks in his neck and repaired both and has given my husbands life back. He is a down to earth person. Outstanding bedside manner. He listens to you. He is a all around great human being.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pereira!! He is absolutely wonderful. On Jan. 8th my mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. After an endovascular repair (by a different doctor), she ended up with a large blood clot. Dr. Pereira advocated surgery to remove it. He was honest about the risks. Additional surgery was the right call!! She began improving rapidly and dramatically. He's smart, funny and a joy to deal with. He even spoke to me by cell after her discharge to answer questions!!
