Dr. Bruce Sobel, DO

Dr Sobel is just a great doctor. Whenever I've had an issue, he is always taking the time to see me explain the issue and. help me resolve any issues that I may have had. in my eyes he is one of the most fantastic doctors I have ever known.

Dr Bruce Sobel is excellent in diagnostics and the remedy you need. He’s always available to see patients at short notice. He listens to you and answers all your questions. The office staff are friendly, caring, experienced professionals. They also have a lab and x-ray departments on-site so that you can get many test results during your visit. It’s so convenient. Another wonderful part about going to Sobel Family Medicine are Larry and Bruce Sobel’s framed photographic artwork of beautiful scenes from all over the world. The art is not only interesting, but calming to contemplate while you’re waiting. My mother goes to Dr Larry Sobel and she has had excellent treatment as well. I am so happy that I found Sobel Family Medicine.

He’s far too busy to give much attention to each patient. We wait 2-3 hours sometimes, past our appointment time. Once when we had an emergency, we got in quickly, that’s why the 2nd star.

The office staff and Office Manager represent your business. Jass had to be the most cluesless person I have ever met. She had no idea what kind of Doctor Dr. larry was??? How can you not know that? The excuse "I am new" is basicly saying "We don't really care" who represents our office.

Dr. Sobel is one of the few doctors I’ve ever seen who really listens to the patient and the full set of symptoms and works to diagnose the full issue rather than treat the symptoms of the moment. There have been 2 or 3 times I’ve been there with odd things over the last ~10 yrs and he really helped me get to the root of the problem and prevent recurrence, rather than just treating whatever was most annoying and brought me in at the time. I appreciate his expertise and thoroughness. My husband has had the same experience with him, as has my Mom who now has her annual check up with him when she travels in from Chicago.

I would not recommend this physician. His staff does not follow through on his orders for tests with authorizations. You are forced to make an office visit (with a co-pay) to be told you need routine lab work, something that should have been handled by phone. You cannot reach his assistant and no one in the office will take a message. This doctor does not listen. He makes a diagnosis without having critical medical records, and orders duplicate tests. There is no sense of urgency here.

Great Doctor

I do not recommend this Dr Bruce Sobel! My opinion, based on my experience, is this man believes that he can intimidate his patients. He seems to think that his patients are there to serve him and that his time is more valuable than yours. I waited for an hour (from appointment until he entered the exam room, this was a follow up) to see him. He then began interrogating me. Avoid this ill-mannered, unprofessional, there are plenty of qualified doctor's available!!

I have been coming to Dr Bruce Sobel for many years and have been very satisfied with things. Reasonable waits time when scheduling is busy . Been thoroughly treated and referred as needed. Overall very happy with staff and facilities

I was called back in a reasonable amount of time and was there for a Pre Op Physical. Everything went quickly. They were very organized and everyone did a great job. There was less waiting time than I have had before.
