Burned my son’s chest using cryotherapy
He applied liquid Nitrogen to my son chest directly to treat him from a virus he thought it was causing bumps on his skin. He should have sprayed it on a Qtip and not directly. He caused burns and scars and holes in my son’s skin using cryotherapy on a pediatric patient. My son was terrified. He’s 4 years old. He said it will be gone in 2 weeks which never happened and he never said it will scar him or burn him like that. I called him and he confirmed he will apply it next time on a Qtip and my opinion was NOW!? After it’s too late. This procedure was performed wrongly on a 4 year old leaving his skin deformed. We are using scar cream on him now and taking him to Dr. Pearl in Jacksonville this Monday. If scars and burns stay, we will report this as a medical error by this doctor.

I HAD A LARGE SECTION REMOVED OFF OF MY LEFT ARM. THE GROWTH HAS COME BACK TO THE PINT THAT IT WAS VERY CONCERNING. I CALLED ON A SUNDAY SO SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME FIRST MONDAY SO I COULD GET AN APPOINTMENT ASAP. I WAS TOLD I COULD DRIVE TO PALTAKA ON THURSDAY OR COME INTO THE ST AUGUSTINE OFFICE FRIDAY AT 10:30. I TOOK THE 10:30 SHOWED UP AND MY NAME WAS NEVER PUT ON THE SCHEDULE. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS ABOUT THE GROWTH AND WAS TOLD THE DR. WON'T SEE ME WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. AGAIN I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS AS TO HOW FAST THE GROW IS HAPPENING AND TOLD THE SAME THING.

I called and asked if he had experience with thinning hair. I was told yes so I made an appt. Dr. Paley checked my back and arms for skin issues which was not why I was there, but he said it was for ins purposes so ok. I tried lifting sections of my hair so he could see the thin spots where my scalp showed through and he could not have spent 10 seconds looking at my hair. He acted like he just didn't want to deal with it. The two stars are for the friendly staff and low wait time.

The only reason for the 2 stars was availability and lack of wait time in the office. Otherwise, I can not recommend this doctor. He spent at the most 5 minutes barely gave me an opportunity to ask any questions, and his treatment plan was out dated. My GP did a better job.

Dr. Paley was rude & abrupt with my mother. Without looking at her or introducing himself, he said, "I need to ask you questions about your mother." She can answer for herself. Worse than that, he misdiagnosed her without having done biopsies yet. We canceled the biopsy appt w/ him and went elsewhere. They took their time looking at her skin and gave a completely different assessment. Biopsies showed precancerous, whereas he told my mother she would lose part of her face and possibly her nose.
