Condescending and mistaken about some medical info
He repeatedly insisted that the medication he prescribed to me and my family members (Meloxicam) is “not an NSAID” and that it doesn’t have any stomach side effects that NSAIDs have. Despite me mentioning that everything online says it’s an NSAID, he continued insisting it’s not. He directed me to better sources, but they also say Meloxicam is an NSAID, as does the written info on my actual prescription. I’m guessing he has it confused with the other drug he prescribed? I would go easy on him for a mistake if he ever looked into it and corrected himself, but he seemed too overconfident to consider he might be mistaken.I only had one appointment with him plus a phone call (maybe he’s just having a bad few weeks?), but both times he had a condescending attitude, often saying things like “let me put this in a way you’ll understand”. I could deal with one mistake or the attitude, but both together made me decide to find a different doctor.

I started visiting Dr. Morrison when I moved into the Huntingdon Valley area back in 1988. I trust him with my health and well being as well as now my wife and both of my children. He's always been straight forward with me, and, has recommended other doctors, specialists, that have worked out for me as I have gotten older.
