Dr. Merkin is such a great doctor!! He is so caring and sweet. He genuinely cares for his patients. I read a review from above and couldn't disagree more, he is a great doctor, knows his stuff, and doesn't want to see his patients become addicted to anything. While other doctors will just blindly prescribe drugs like candy, he actually pays attention and his patients are number one to him. He always puts a smile on my face and brightens my day when I see him.

Dr. Merkin is one of the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly doctors there is. I have had many doctors since falling ill in 2010 and I’m confident in what I am saying. So if you are searching for a really great doctor then search no further.

When I moved to OH I made an appointment with Dr. Merkin to be my prescribing physician. During my introductory appointment he flat out refused to prescribe my medication (specifically xanax and adderall- which I've been prescribed by my last 2 doctors to treat panic attacks and ADHD). He was alright with me withdrawing cold turkey (knowing that xanax withdrawal can be deadly). His reason being it is not my practice to prescribe those he cared more about his practice than helping me. Degraded.
