I don’t let residents do the majority of my cases
Don’t know who wrote the post about the residents do my cases. I suspect a “colleague “…. I OCCASIONALLY train a resident to do my sinus cases as they seek me out for training in this area specifically as it is my passion. BUT, I am ALWAYS there guiding them completely throughout the ENTIRE case, so they are essentially doing EXACTLY what I would do. Then I go in and make sure it is up to my standards. So the person who posted this is not honest and I find it deeply offensive.Bruce Hudkins MD

Dr Hudkins is an amazing ENT. His sinus flushes have helped me so much. He is definitely and expert in the field. He has kept me from having a second sinus surgery. My first one was done by someone else who perforated my dura.

my husband saw this doctor on February 1st and was diagnosed with thrush. He went for second opinion and found out he may have throat cancer. Hopefully we caught it early, but if we would have just done as this doctor suggested, the lesion would have just continued to grow. Definitely get a second opinion.

He was personable and took his time.I really liked him. Since he works close to people's faces, I would suggest a breath mint. I did have to wait over a month for an opening. I would inform people that ENT's as a rule have a lengthy time period to be seen. Also, I would inform patients that going down nose is pretty uncomfortable and to take deep breaths while tube is going down.

He has helped me with my sinuses for 5 years. He spends at least 10 minutes with me every time. He gives me medicines and also recommends alternative type medicines for additional help. Staff are very friendly!

He found through an obscure blood test that I had ehrlichiosis. Probably saved my life. I could not ask for better care. He listened to me when other doctors just went by the book.
