She is a gifted surgeon who shows so much compassion to her patients and their families. She is a wonderful person, extremely knowledgeable and we are so grateful she took such amazing care of our family member.

After being an athlete since high school and then a career as an over the road truck driver, I had lived in pain for many years from my lower back. The pain had gotten so bad I could barely walk as it affected my leg and my stomach had a lateral shift from so much pain. I cannot thank Dr. Starrman enough. She is very nice and got me into surgery within two weeks of meeting her. I am 43 with a long life ahead of me and can now look forward to playing with my kids again when I get healed up. I had surgery five days ago and I can use my leg again to walk around without excruciating jolting pain. I can feel my legs. I’m so thankful for Dr. Starrman and her team.

Hospital Visit
Saw Dr. Staarmann as a patient in the hospital and then follow up in the office. She is very compassionate and personable. Listens very carefully to what the patient has to say. Does not make you feel rushed.

I left confused and only one test that was suggested was ordered. I wasn't a very good patient either...wasn't prepared with appropriate questions. I have left a message about the visit and hopefully some things will be more clear.

Dr. Staarmann was a very active listener and compared my symptoms to previous MRI's and found something that after consultation with Dr who reviewed the MRI has ordered follow up tests to determine the significance. I only had one visit so far but Dr. Staarmann was very thorough, focused and curious about was causing my symptoms which for me is the most important traits in a doctor. Thanks
