I was referred to Dr. Thedinger because my local ENT thought I was leaking cerebral spinal fluid from my right ear. In the pre-op phone review he said I wasn't. I asked if I could have my mastoidectomy locally and he said once referred, I would be with him. They did not accept my Medicaid, offer no financial assistance and accept no partial payments so if you're financially struggling at all I CANNOT recommend.

Amazing surgeon! Skilled beyond measure!
Dr Thedinger has the most amazing bedside manner, thoughtful w both my husband and myself in explaining the process. He is prompt at every appointment and comes with solutions as well as answers. Personable and professional! Highly recommend. My husband had been (loosely-I say because it’s been a real struggle)…working with hearing aids for years, previous doctors pretty much just gave him the “it is what it it is approach at your age=67 and having worked at the railroad for 38 years”. We left today-2 weeks post op-with great hope…we had the car stereo on at a normal volume for the first time in years and he could hear a dj just talking without me being blasted out. Our only problem is that we didn’t find Dr T sooner!

Saw Thedinger early January. He said I had Meniere's and BPPV even after seeing previous testing that showed I had neither. Said do Semont Maneuver for 1 week. Didn't help at all. Said to re-test for BPPV. Again the re-tests showed I didn't have BPPV. Then said to "monitor" my symptoms for 2 weeks and come back (I live in Sioux City IA). Wasted a lot of time and money for absolutely NOTHING. Saw another neurotologist who confirmed I had neither BPPV nor Meniers's.
