Dr. Brigitte Semexant, DO

After my initial appointment in November 2024, I finally gave up and found a doctor and office that would get things done for me. The insurance company required the DR's office to provide more information to fill a prescription. After waiting 1 month I started calling weekly to the office. I was told that there is a long wait list, and it could be 2 more months before they got to make the call for me. As a diabetic that is unacceptable. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My husband and I both switched to this doctor. When in the office the dr seemed nice and caring and took time with us. Between us we made 5 appointments. 2 were cancelled by the office. The 3 we did attend we waited over an hour for each one. They make you sign papers about how they won't give results over the phone, due to them cancelling my followup I never got my results, yes I know I should have rescheduled but I'm busy and I had cleared my schedule for original appointment they cancelled last min. Got a mammogram, the place where I got it said expect a call from my dr so I can get an rx for further testing. They never called. Maybe for someone who has hours to wait and call and reschedule cancelled appointments and followup with phone calls this dr is good, but for me it worked out as a year where I basically had no care since I still don't know the results of my blood work and never got the 2nd mammogram I needed, maybe partially my fault but they are not completely blameless.

Excellent bedside and took the time to explain everything she did or was recommended.

Dr Semexant is the primary care doctor for both my wife and I. She is by far the best doctor with an excellent referral network. She is concerned about her patients. I was hospitalized with a very bad intestinal infection and she was my primary and attending doctor at the hospital. That is when I really saw her value. If you are lucky enough to have discovered her, make sure you stick with her.

Wonderful approach- knowledgeable but also very common sense. I love that she works on lifestyle changes, not just medication. She is personable, warm but honest.

To sum it up: wonderful!! Dr. Semexant seems very knowledgable and thoroughly explains everything! Her bedside manners are excellent too! Most doctors nowadays are in a rush. Not her. She provides a very thorough examination!

SHE IS HANDS DOWN THE MOST PLEASANT DOCTOR THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. SHE TAKES HER TIME & LISTENS TO YOUR NEEDS.
