Our experience with Dr. Sellers and his staff has been excellent in every way. We met him 2.5 years ago, a couple of weeks after my husband's diagnosis of an acute and massive DVT, occurring two months after a meniscus repair. Dr. Sellers was kind, thorough and took his time explaining the options available and the potential outcomes for each in treating my husband's very painful and debilitating DVT. My husband ended up having a successful catheter-directed thrombolysis, with a quick and uneventful recovery. We were advised at the time that, having suffered a serious DVT, there was a greater chance of another occurring in the future, and sure enough one was found this week during a regular 2-year follow-up with Dr. Sellers. Again, we're confident we're in good hands with Dr. Sellers, and we trust him to again provide my husband the best treatment available this go round.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Brian Sellers recently. He was very thorough in his exam and spoke to me so I would understand things. I also met his Nurse Practitioner, Billy, who was fantastic as well. He was very level headed as he knew his role and that Dr. Sellers was there for input in all his decisions. I cannot agree with the posts I have read on this thread as I only experienced great compassion from this group. I would highly recommend them to anyone as I feel very well taken care of and that they would always be there for me. It seems there are great surgeons in Montgomery and you don’t always have “to go to Birmingham” for everything.

Dr. Sellers was probably the poorest doctor I have been too in many years of having doctors for lots of different problems. Having had a vascular surgeon in the city we lived in before Montgomery, I went to Dr. Sellers and was most impressed. Years later, when I had a more-serious problem, my wife wanted me to go to Birmingham until I told her to come with me to Dr. Sellers and see how good he was. We never saw him. We were relegated to his nurse practitioner, who was arrogant and appeared to care less about my leg. Sent to Jackson Imaging, I was surprised then the ultrasound lady examined only from hip down to knee. When I questioned that, she checked and said that was what the NP had ordered. When I found that my followup was scheduled with the NP, I cancelled and found a truly outstanding doctor in Birmingham. Nurses at two of my doctors in Montgomery said that the problem with Billie (I think that was the NP's name) was that he thinks he is a doctor, but he isn't.
