I highly recommend Dr. Reade. He welcomed both me and my wife into his office, and seemed present, knowledgeable, capable, and empathic. He explained the details of my X-rays and observed an injury which the ER had missed. It’s all to rare to see a doctor who appears to like both his work and his patients.

Follow up from ER
Dr Reade was very compassionate and understanding. Came in with a broken ankle from a fall while hiking. Went to the ER and was told to follow up with specialist. While examining he felt around and decided to xray my leg which he discovered was also broke. So glad I was put in his care.

His surgical staff untrained lack empathy
I had been seeing him for 2 months I had a toe break twice left foot then discovered a tear and cyst in my right foot … Scheduled MRI then surgery I’m a cancer survivor only have vein access through a port was lost in the mix of surgical scheduler change came to the office repeatedly since calling went in answering service no call back new hire gave me her personal number still scheduled incorrectly then told the hospital would not access my port per the sedation department !!! I have no vein access except my port I contacted the hospital directly they explained the mis information I went to the drs office to discuss the issues called representative no call back until the hospital spoke to the dr who now won’t take me as a patient due to his staff telling me if if have no vein access other than my port I’m out of luck horrible go elsewhere they don’t care if a person is suffering and disabled !!!! . I had previous surgery with his office colleague no issues Heather has no empathy!!!!

Band Aid Solution
I had not hurt my feet in any way; therefore, there was no need to have x-rays taken (just another reason to pad my bill). My swollen feet had caused the skin to dry out, thereby resulting in the skin splitting on my big toe and my heel. All he did was scrape some dead skin off my heel, apply Vaseline to the toe and heel and cover them both with a band aid. The visit took all of five minutes and he told me there was no need to return.

I met with Dr. Reade for the first time today, in order to assess degenerative joint disease in my big toe. I see a lot of doctors, due to long standing chronic pain issues in other parts of my body and I have to say, Dr. Reade is one of the kindest, most compassionate practitioners I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. He has a great bedside manner, was thorough in his examination, and gave me a cortisone shot for the pain, which I barely even felt. Can’t say enough good things about him!

I'm 81 years old and in great shape largely to two of the best Doctors I have ever known; my cardiologist who has kept me on the green side of the grass for 24 years and Brian Reade, who has kept me walking on that grass for 20 of those years. Brian is knowledgeable, listens long and hard, and is 99% right on the diagnosis the first time every visit. (The other 1% is when we discuss politics). I always look forward to our visits, no matter what the cause, because, no matter what the complaint,
