Wife had hip replacement surgery and I had total knee replacement surgery. Results of both have exceeded expectations. Knee replacement much more challenging but if you’re willing to suffer minor pain of physical therapy for 3-weeks, you’ll be walking with a cane and relatively pain free during the day. Dr. O’Neill’s vast experience insures a positive outcome with minimum discomfort. I was offered a cortisone injection and appreciated the less invasive approach, especially in light of the present Covid situation in hospitals.

I was seeing Dr O'Neil for pain in my right hip that has been bothering me for a few years. He took x-rays and examined my hip and decided I did not need surgery. He was straight to the point and explained what the next step was to get a shot in the hip. I received the shot and it seems to be working.

I am a big fan. He's a nice and considerate guy, and great surgeon. Dr. O'Neill did my hip replacement surgery 8 years and was a life saver and still works perfect. I referred him to my wife and son for knee issues and both had very successful surgeries (my son ACL and my wife MCL) and referred him to others who had great results including one who had a total knee replacement surgery. My hip replacement was done two weeks ago. In Monday, home Tuesday. Walking mostly without a cane after just 2 weeks. Never thought it was possible. Dr. O'Neill performed a flawless surgery. I would recommend no one else.

The wait time was alitte long but there were many patients waiting. The waiting room was comfortable. Dr O'Neil is my favorite--He is informative, listens and makes it clear what his diagnois is. I have alot of trust in his ability and have recommended him ofter.

Dr. O'Neill and I have had a doctor/patient relationship for years. He suggested that I would tell him when it was time to have a knee replacement. I appreciated that and made due with cortisone shots for 3 or 4 years. When I finally realized it was time for the knee replacement Dr. O'Neill was my guy. He made me very comfortable with my decision and we proceeded to getting it done. His manner is very comfortable and filled me with confidence that it would be done right. I have not been disappointed and continue with my recovery following his plan. I get better by the week and expect to continue playing softball on a Senior Tournament team at age 77.

I was having pain in my right knee and saw Dr. O'Neill. He x-rayed it and it showed that I had bone on bone. Dr. O'Neill and I visited about replacement after I tried a shot of cortisone. I was able to get in fairly soon and had the replacement. Dr. O'Neill's attention to the issue was beyond expectation. He realizes how important it is for someone who is active to get back to that status. He explained the procedure and how long I would be in the hospital. He did an excellent job with the surgery and I am in PT now and it is going very well. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Neill. He takes the care of his patients very serious and works to ensure they will be back to their potential. I can't thank him enough for what he did. Now I have to do my part to make this procedure completely successful.

I had total hip replacement in June, 2019 with Dr. O'Neill using the anterior method. I was rolled into surgery at 1:00 on Monday and home sitting on my couch at 1:00 the next day. It was a miracle with little to no trauma. My pain was minimal and I was walking pretty normally after 3 days. Didn't use a cane or walker after that time, as well. It was a great experience and solved a very painful, life-altering problem!

I am a 71 year old male who has had numerous surgeries. Included are two back and left hip surgeries. I had right hip surgery in June 2019. My experience with Dr. O’Neill and the outcome were outstanding. No pain, walking without any aids four days after surgery, and at two weeks I resumed with caution doing a lot of activities that I could not do before surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. O’Neill.
