Based on glowing reviews I saw of Dr. Olenslager, I thought I'd finally found a doctor who could provide me adequate pain management. But that couldn't have been further from the truth. Dr. Olenslager was completely useless in helping to find treatment options to better manage my pain. My primary care doctor sent me to Dr. Olenslager for neck pain. But instead of treating my neck pain, the only thing he ended up treating was my fibromyalgia. He offered zero treatment options for my neck pain for no other reason than the fact that the MRI of my neck was 'normal'. First of all, that was a lie. My neck is straighter than it's supposed to be - that's not 'normal'. Second of all, I'm not having pain for no reason. The reality is that I'm still in pain even though nothing 'abnormal' shows up on my MRI. Also, Dr. Olenslager did not do a very thorough enough examination nor did he adequately question my about my pain. I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Olenslager.

Excellent Care
My wife and I both see Dr. Olenslager for lower back pain and have for a few years now. We always find him kind, concerned and caring. We feel like we get great care from him and we highly recommend him.

AMAZING DR! HE TAKES TIME & EXPLAINS
WOW! A Dr that listens and truly cares. I saw him for a 2nd opinion. He took plenty of time with me and explained my medical conditions in terms I could understand and was in depth on it all. Unfortunately he was not able to add any other means of severe pain relief I hadn't previously tried, but he explained my MRI in detail so I understand more of what's going on. Dr Olenslager is friendly and actually hears and responds to concerns. I would recommend him! Also the staff was very friendly with smiles on their faces and in their words. 5 stars!

If you are looking for an honest, outgoing physician you will never find another like Dr. O; Not that I want to compete for appointments with new patients, but it would be selfish of me not to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Olenslager. Been with him for 15 years & thru 3 moves, he is completely by the book & puts the patient first.
