Dr. Norton , very good Doctor. staff was very mean
The lady that I was talking with about my follow up appt. was very rude to me, so much that I was so upset because of the way she talked to me that I started having chest pains and had to just hang up. I had to cancel my follow up appt. and she started telling me that I had to be there. I explained to her that my car was down and i couldnt get there. she said well you knew you had to be there so you need to be there. she was so rude and had me feeling so upset like I had done something wrong, but I didnt do anything wrong I had car problems and would have to reschedule. she got very ugly to me, Ive had a stroke some years back and I dont think or talk very well and this lady was so rude to me, she scared me. I will not go back to have my stiches out of my fringer, not there anyway. Mallory was the ladies name I think and then when I hung up another ladie called me right back and started in on me again telling me I better be there tomorrow, all I could do was cry, those ladies

Understanding
Great Doctor. He is really down to Earth with his explanation of how everything works together, and takes time to address questions. He doesn't seem rushed, and is very straightforward with his observations. Put a plate in my arm after breaking it, and helped ease my apprehension about the necessity of surgery. He clearly explained how the bone would heal otherwise and complications with that, which helped me address the problem confidently.

Very satisfied with Dr. Norton.
First, I saw Dr Norton’s nurse. Then, Dr. Norton ordered X-rays of my hands. Dr. Norton asked me questions about hands and what I’d already had done. I told him that my GP had referred me to a Rheumatologist, who had done some lab work and an U/S of my hands, that showed I had CPPD, or “Pseudo Gout”. I told him that I also had triggering of fingers on both hands and also that I’d had surgery years ago on both thumbs due to triggering. He examined my hands and asked if I’d had steroid injections prior to the surgeries, on my thumbs. I had not. He recommended that we try that to see if it will work, first, and explained that sometimes it takes more than one to get a complete release. He did one injection in each hand and scheduled me to come back in 6wks, unless it was totally gone. He also shared a website that he uses, for me to get more information on my CPPD diagnosis. I felt like he listened and understood my problems and glad that he suggested the injections first.

He spent a lot of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. He is very informative and you can understand what he's speaking to you about. He's funny and had a great sense of humor. I felt very at ease with him about my condition and I don't feel as scared anymore. My son used him several years ago and was very impressed with him. I don't believe you could find anyone better. He's A1.

A well-run patient oriented practice. Dr Norton and his staff listened carefully to understand my needs and concerns; and considered these in planning his proposed treatment plan. He is not aloof and treated me with respect. He clearly explained all procedures and and possible outcomes. He and his medical team and administrative folks are true professionals. I’d recommend them to anyone.
