Dr. Brian Nielsen, MD

Read all the great reviews about him, but when he saw our 15yr old daughter for a spine issue, he barely made eye contact and kept his back to us. He did not listen or care at all that this acute issue is affecting her life greatly and not allowing her to dance at all (she has been dancing since age 3). Spent maybe 10" with us total for a spine issue that is scary ! He did not given any instructions to her only to come back after her CT and MRI are done. I have been a nurse for 20 yrs and would never treat a pt the way he treated my daughter! Worst part is - we got a copy of the visit note and he LIED! He did not give us DC paperwork at all! The visit note stated he did and that he spent a good amount of time teaching and demonstrating stretching techniques to help strength her back and decrease pain! A TOTAL LIE!!!!! I am making sure that is taken out of her record and I am not wondering if I should report him to the medical board for blatant lying???

Dr Nielsen is knowledgeable when it comes to our child's condition. Dr Nielsen has been treating her for multiple years and we recommend him for any kids with scoliosis.

Very pleased with Dr. Nielson. He was very kind and helped make a rather a difficult appointment for my autistic son much easier. Made sure, even though my son cried the whole visit that I was able to understand and hear his thoughts on my son's issues and what he could do to help with his pain. Thank you Dr. Nielson and your nurse for making it as easy as it could be. And thanks for your patience with us.

Listened to concerns, knew right away what was causing our son pain, gave us solutions. Overall great experience, thank you.

Took my daughter in for a follow up appointment and cast removal. We were there for less than an hour due to efficiency of the staff. The staff was professional and friendly.

Dr. Nielson found more of a condition that was over looked in the orginal diganosis. He then properly diagnosed the condition and provided proper treatment.

I had my daughter to see Dr Nielson. Two years ago my daughter seen him for a deformity hip. She went to therapy and did well. Well she started walking wrong and falling. He had her walk and run down the hallway. He checked her hip and said we can live with it or have surgery when she's 16 because of her growing Isabella asked about the surgery and he said that is done by breaking your hip and put prothesis in the area. She was scared after that and cried all the way home.

Excellent! Seen this doctor since I was a child. Had my knee recently reconstructed. Only a month in and I'm feeling great able to move way more.

Dr. Nielsen was very generous, and patient to my son, he was patient and answered all the questions we had honestly, he made my son and family feel confident with his procedure, we are very thankful for his time and patience with us.
