Dr. Brian Mussett, DPM

I recently had surgery for my bunion. I felt that Dr. Mussett was not personable and did not spend the time with me that I deserved. He mostly filled out paperwork and talked over his shoulder at me. He looked at my injury, but never physically examined it, as if he didn't want to touch me. His communication with me and explanation of my surgery and recovery time was brief and rushed. His follow-through instructions for when my surgical boot was removed was minimal. I felt insignificant and was left feeling anxious about my procedure. I was treated mostly by his excellent staff. Dr. Mussett is an excellent surgeon, and I would not go anywhere else. However, his communication skills with his patients could be improved.

I had a bad wound on big toe that would not heal, I was afraid it may have to come off. Dr. Mussett treated my toe , (alot of work of work on his part) ,and it is healing! The staff is very helpful and courteous ,more than they have to be. I HIGHLY recommend "The Ankle & Foot Clinic" (Dr. Brian Mussett) !!

After 4 weeks, I am still waiting for my orthotic inserts because they won't order them until they are paid in full. So it took several weeks for them to get paid by my insurance, then a week for them to invoice me by mail for the balance. I was clear that I was shipping out for 3 months and I need those orthotics. They were not clear up front that there would be a balance to pay up front, but at some later point & they would only contact me by mail.

Wonderful experience.....very friendly staff. We were treated excellent and we would highly recommend. Dr Mussett is professional and caring. Bunion surgery on family member. No complaints at all.

I was a new patient with a sore swollen foot. They got me in the same day! Everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. Dr. Mussett was very thorough and explained everything. I never felt rushed. Great experience.
