Switching to Dr. McKenna as my OBGYN at the beginning of the year was the best decision I could have made. He is incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to perimenopause and menopause, and goes above and beyond to take exceptional care of his patients. Dr. McKenna holds stellar reviews and has an impeccable reputation within Northwell Health, and it’s clear to see why.Every referral he gave me was just as outstanding as he is, which speaks volumes about his network and dedication to providing the best care possible. His staff is equally amazing—kind, patient, and always willing to help.Dr. McKenna provided me with sound advice and expertly guided me through making the right decisions regarding my fibroid tumors. His expertise, combined with that Irish charm and caring nature, truly made all the difference. I am so grateful to have found a doctor I can trust completely with my care! I highly recommend!!!

Dr McKenna has been my gyn for years. I just was in the office August 5, 2024. I follow him around to wherever he relocates to because he is such a kind, caring compassionate man. He never rushes. He has a fantastic bedside manner. He never makes you feel uncomfortable so you can ask any question and not feel embarrassed. I highly recommend this doctor.

Didn't even get to the doctor, couldn't get past 4 staff members. All confusing, disrespectful and just plain rude. They set an appointment then they take it back and expect you to change appointment times to their convienience. Long standing patients get bumped up for their prefered time schedule and as a new patient, I was bumped out of my time slot even though my appointment was determined for weeks ahead and confirmed 2 times. Suddenly the other patient took preference over my appointment time. Last minute.

I recommend Dr.McKenna because he is an excellent doctor . Recently I had a surgery ( he operated ) of taking out a fibrosis and he is a doctor that cared about my health since the beginning . He never left me alone at the hospital during the surgery and helped me through this . I recommend Dr.McKenna for all Hispanics because he really cares about your health . I just moved here from out of state and I must tell you that Dr. McKenna is a wonderful physician and person. I am always treated with respect and dignity. He is thorough and concise. He truly cares about his patients. The whole staff is amazing too. Timely appointments are made if you're having an issue. The front desk girls are helpful and friendly, the nurses are caring and kind as well. I always leave his office feeling confident in the care I receive.

Dr McKenna is very caring. He spends time with you listens, and carefully explains everything. I have been a patient over 25 years. I don't think there are many doctors like him.

I have seen Dr. McKenna through three offices. He is a kind & gentle man as well as a very good diagnostician. I enjoy seeing one other doctor and one of the NPs. The practice has become large so the wait for a dr, both for an appointment & in the office, can be rather long at times. The nurses returning the calls are very quick & have advised me incorrectly several times. Calls to a dr or NP are generally not returned by them. I do wish they were still the smaller CWC practice, but worth it!

I think Dr McKenna is one of the best Drs. out there. That said, I am leaving his practice because it's too large and I can never actually get to him. They force you to see the Nurse Practitioner. Which is fine for some things but if I want to see my doctor directly it seems impossible unless there will be a surgery. I call and say I am in pain and they have me leave a message for a nurse and 24 hrs later I get no response. I don't recommend being a patient here if you want hands on care.

What an amazing Physician Dr. Mckenna is. He's professional, caring and listens. Highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a OB/GYN. Wait time can be sometime long but so worth it!

Dr. McKenna is thorough and compassionate. He spent a full hour with me during my first visit taking down my very complicated and traumatic reproductive history. Upon becoming pregnant, he helped ease my fears and point me toward great resources to ameliorate the risks of my pregnancy. The only drawback is that the practice is big, and the clerical staff have proven to be brusque and at times incompetent. Also, the other doctors are not necessarily as lovely as he is, but he may be worth it.

Both Dr McKenna and Dr Rubin are amazing doctors. Both VERY caring and take their time with each patient which makes the small wait worth while. Highly recommend. I actually pick my health ins based off of what they accept so they can be the doctors for my first baby. Seeing Dr Soviero for the first time this month for my 13 week sono and can't wait to meet her.

If Dr. McKenna can't figure out what's wrong with you he tries to make it into a psychological problem. First sign of an ego maniac...I wound up having an autoimmune disease that gave me the symptoms I was feeling. Not a mental condition. Don't be fooled. Not all doctors are made the same. If you have something out of the ordinary, he's not the doctor for you because his ego will always come first.

I am an integrative healing seeker and have always used nutrition, excersize and meditation as a means of self healing. After experiencing some post menopause symptoms that were cause for alarm, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. McKenna. A biopsy was ordered and much to my chagrin, I made the appointment to have the procedure done in his office. I was delighted on the spic&span cleanliness of the surgical unit. No Zika virus looming here. The procedure was fast efficient, and easy. Excellent!
