Worst Dr I have encountered in my 46 years
So I am finally getting strong enough to revisit this situation that I experienced at the Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital almost two years later. After my brain aneurysm I was dizzy a lot and waking up each day wondering when I would get better. This guy would be as cold as a stone wall and give me these snarly looks saying what did I tell you yesterday when I would ask when I might be better. I’m actually not sure what he told me “yesterday” because I had a brain injury from blood sitting on my brain and my memory was terrible after I almost died several times in the Jefferson ICU where I was the full month before with a shaved head from when they drilled hole to put a drain for the blood that filled my brain before I was airlifted to Jefferson where Dr. Tjoumakaris saved my life. Shame on you Dr. McDonald. As an MD, I’m sorry DO, you should know better when it comes to brain injury. If it’s even possible gather some kindness and compassion when speaking to brain injured patients.

great physician
Dr. McDonald is a great physician. He is professional and knowledgeable. He runs on time, and doesn't spend too much time chit-chatting. He gets right down to business with the intake, exam, and explaining what is needed for concussion and brain injury care. definitely recommend his office

Extremely poor healthcare provider. This provider lacks empathy, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and does not seem to have up to date knowledge to aide in the care of his patients. Overall, I recommend seeking another healthcare provider rather than trusting your care to him.

Extremely knowledgeable and direct. Dr. McDonald took the time to explain my injury in terms that I could understand and worked with my specific needs regarding treatment.
