Listened to my symptoms and took conservative approach prior to shoulder surgery. Thoroughly explained what he was going to do prior to surgery and then used images from surgery to explain what was found and what was done. Very patient.

Beware! I fell and had excruciating pain in my knee. Dr Makhuli initially diagnosed it as only muscle tears and did not need surgery, on the follow up he confirmed I did not need surgery but said there might be slight tears. A second option yielded a Dr that could see the tendon damage, ordered an MRI to confirm and did surgery to a completely ruptured tendon. It is scary that a Doctor Mahkuli was not just wrong, but completely wrong and stood by his diagnosis. So glad I got a second opinion.

I went to see Dr. Makhuli I asked to get some shots in my knees for my arthritis. He said I was too young to have arthritis. He ordered an MRI. I had the MRI done at Kennesaw where they forgot my head phones. I then called to schedule an appointment somewhere not in Kennesaw. Needless to say there is no way he even looked at my x-ray not only is my arthritis still there but I have no cartilage left in my left knee. Also, I had an old break in my right leg. Did he even look at my X-ray???

Dr. Makhuli has been my favorite orthopedic surgeon long before he became my doctor. He fixed my son?s clavicle smashed in a skateboarding accident. When I became a patient of his I already had experiences with good orthopedic surgeons from New Jersey to Atlanta since 1985 with arthroscopic repair of torn meniscus in both knees. Dr. Makhuli was in no hurry to perform replacements and for years we worked on less drastic solutions until at the age of 61 this past January, when I had my first total

Worst experience with a health care provider ever! I was scheduled to see Dr. Makhuli for a 9am appt. I arrived at 8:40 (as instructed). I was taken back to an exam room at 9. I sat there for an hour. I poked my head out the door and asked if I had confused my appt. time and maybe it was in fact scheduled for 10. The nurse proceeds to tell me that my appt was for 9 but I didn't arrive until 9:30(not true). Finally saw DR at 10:30, he spent less than 5 minutes with me...
