Dr. Liem was very thorough and thoughtful. He listened well and took the time to understand my condition.

Dr. Liem is very thorough and he is focused on his patients' needs. He explains procedures and options clearly and always is concerned about the needs of the patient. He reviews my file the night before my appointment so he is clear about my needs and is updated on my condition. He came highly recommended to me, and I in turn will highly recommend him to my friends.

I met with Dr. Liem in the past to evaluate shoulder discomfort. Today I was in to discuss lower back pain and related symptoms. As with my shoulder, I was totally impressed with Dr. Liem. He obviously came into the meeting prepared to discuss my concerns, having read my notes and related documentation. He listened carefully and with concern. He explained his impressions clearly and answered all of my questions with patience. I left having a clear plan to move forward with dealing with my back (and shoulder for that matter). I plan to follow up with physical therapy and have a return visit scheduled with Dr. Liem in 3 months. I unconditionally recommend Dr. Liem along with the entire team at UW Sports Medicine.

I have seen Dr. Liem a handful of times over the course of 5 years. Every visit I felt my concerns were heard. Even with his busy schedule, Dr. Liem always takes the time to explain the problem in a way that is easily understood and offers reasonable solutions. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He's also very personable and easy to talk to. Overall, highly recommend!

Dr Brian Liem is excellent. He listens to your issues, does a thorough exam, explains the options with their associated benefits and risks, lets you consider all and then WE developed a plan. His bedside manner and procedural skills are commendable. I have personally experienced both. I am happy with my PRP procedure and am back paddling my outrigger canoe! I had a knee injury and see Dr. Liem today. He was very friendly and caring. He conducted a very thorough exam on my knees and demonstrated me the fluid caused by the injury. He placed Xrays order which I just did with the appointment, and then he explained the results right after. The process was very efficient process and I don't have to make another trip to do it . He also made recommendations and explained their rationale, listened to all my questions and concerns and addressed them one by one. I would hope every of my doctor would just be like Dr. Liem.

He gets an absolute 5* plus. The amount of time he spends going over your issue is amazing. You do not leave without a very good understanding of problem and what the “plan” is. Never a 15 minute and your time is up. He knows how to explain very complex spinal issues in layman terms. He also remembers you and picks right up where last visit ended.
