He didn't hurt my throat too much (only hurt a little the next day) but the best thing of all was that he didn't use the "gas" on me (that apparently causes nausea and grogginess) and because he didn't use the gas, my recovery was so much more pleasant. I was clear headed within minuets of coming out of surgery with absolutely no drowsiness or nausea. I felt great immediately after. Whatever he did should be standard practice.
