Dr. Brian Leffler, MD

I have taken my teenage boys to see him and he is incredibly patient, but also speaks to them in a way where they listen to his advice. We are very thankful for the care he has provided our family!

I cannot imagine where the people giving Dr Leffler poor ratings are coming from. I have been seeing him for 5 to 6 years. He is always attentive to my concerns, I have never felt rushed or shortchanged during any visit. He has always been very responsive to my health needs. I have found Dr Leffler to be an outstanding PCP

He was great initially, but over time he only cared about referring me to other specialists. When you need an appointment you can’t get in and then have to go to urgent care. He never listens to the patient and is rude and dismissive.

He’s not friendly. Won’t answer questions at all , stated other concerns need to make another appointment. We’re finished with him. We’re going to another doctor & he won’t be in this group. My vet is nicer to our dogs.

I have been seeing this doctor for years after my original doctor retired. He is not very friendly and does not listen to what you have to say. Puts you through so much test and then says after several years all the original test are wrong. Tells me I did not follow through when I called him out about never responding to my emails . Makes me fell very awful about myself and talks down to me. Treats my husband well and talks to him with respect. After this last visit where I was really upset asking for his help once again and having him once again say mean things to me I have decided I will get another doctor. I have medical issues that should have been taken care of but he dropped the ball and then went on my chart and flat out lied about our visit and belittled me for any doctor to see. SO DONE! not professional at all

Dr. Leffler is great. I would highly recommend him.

Our whole family is w/Avon Family Health for 5+ years. My husband & son see Dr. Leffler. He started out ok, but progressively has declined to where we are all looking for new doctors as they won't allow us to switch to a different provider in the same office. 1- He is notoriously late & will bill us for a long visit (even on annual visits) when his time management is the issue. 2- He will bring up issues during the annual (ie, son's asthma), I will answer a question & he will bill me for second issue when I didn't bring it up. 3- He wants them both to come in just for refills even when they have been in to his office MULTIPLE times this year for this medicine & he bills us each time. There is no reason for this & we have never had this issue (nor do I have this with my doctor/daughter's doctor). 4- Final straw is my husband made an appointment through the app and they confirmed it yet they never scheduled it. My husband took off work & they said he never confirmed it.

As other reviews state—this doctor is more worried that you are discussing more than one item during the visit. Spent 2 minutes doing my physical—I am sure if someone checked how quickly he did the physical, there would be issues there as well—and about 5 minutes explaining that my multiple issues required multiple visits. Complained that I should make two office visits to discuss two issues—did not care about what the issues were, spent more time complaining about the multiple issues. A total of 10 minutes was spent with the doctor, 4 minutes with the nurse and 25 minutes after my appointment to get in. Finding a new doctor—

I would not recommend at all like some of this comments we also had similar issues .If he doesn’t want to be a dr and do his job then don’t work as a dr .He didn’t want to take on multiple problems with the initial appointment.He belittled my husband and made him seem like a perve when we let the dr if he can check a lump .The reason for my husbands appointment wasn’t even addressed .He doesn’t even make the patient feel welcomed at all .

Cancelled my appointment two hours before it was scheduled and gave it to someone else without talking to me. Said that my insurance wouldn’t cover it because it hadn’t been a full year. I got the voicemail right before i was leaving to go. I went in anyway (having blood pressure issues and had taken a day off of work) and they had someone take my blood pressure (16-something over 90-something) but said I may not see the doctor. After listening to him on the other side of the door talking to the nurse for several minutes, she came in and gave me information about a low sodium diet and told me to reschedule in a few weeks. The guy couldn’t be bothered to crack the door open and talk to me himself, nor call me in a prescription to treat my blood pressure. I walked out of there with an EXTREMELY high blood pressure, and no help from the doctor at all.

My husband and I moved here in October from Washington state and had Physicians we both really liked and respected. We were both worried about finding another doctor and are so happy to find Dr. Leffler. He listens and helps you find a cure to your problems. His bedside manner is great and explains everything and I never feel rushed. I would highly recommend him.

Love Dr. Leffler. He is very caring and concerned about you. Doesn’t rush you in and out. Takes his time with you and your health concerns. He is very through and doesn’t hesitate to recommend a specialist if he thinks you need to see one. He is very easy to talk to. So glad I found him. Staff very nice also.

Very caring doctor

What a joke! Went for my first visit for check up as a new patient. The Dr. would not even touch me during the physical exam. Then would barely speak loud enough to hear. I was literally in the room for less then 5 minutes. The initial nurse that took my blood pressure was also a joke. The blood pressure cuff kept falling off but she continued to take it anyways. I would not recommend or trust this Dr.

Dr Leffler has always been kind and thorough but many on his office staff are rude, pompous, and usually very difficult to communicate with . I wam being forced to pay for my annual wellness visit bc of the manner in which my appointment was handled.

Only allowed one problem at a time. If you have more than one concern you will have to make another appointment. He cant manage a daily schedule and doesn't have enough time for patients.

Dr. Leffler listens, and works with you to find the best solutions. He is concerned with wellness, which is why I chose him. He takes what time you need with him, and is warm and caring.

Other doctors would do well to emulate Dr. Leffler. He is kind, gentle, considerate, and takes time to examine and determine a course of action. He will admit when he feels a further diagnosis from a specialist is needed. He is a wonderful person and a great doctor.

Went to other Drs over the past 10 years. He listened from a medical view point. Looked at my history and recognized a possible issue. I dont know my complete diagnosis at this point but he was the one that pointed me in the right direction on addressing a serious issue.. There is a staff member that will benefit from customer service training, however I am reviewing the DR., not his staff.
