Terrible bedside manner
He told my mom she wasn’t sick that she just “wanted to be sick” who would say that to someone desperate for answers. My mom doesn’t want to be sick or like being sick. She is not the kind of person looking for sympathy and she hates medication. There was zero reason he should be talking to her like that. I was so shocked I was speechless. I just stood there trying to get my jaw off the floor. I couldn’t find the words to tell him how terrible I thought he was, so I’m leaving it in a review. Hopefully it’ll warn others. You go to a doctor for help and all you get are insults. It’s mind boggling how some doctors are these days.

His office made me feel like my life wasn't worth saving. I had a large cerebral aneurysm at high risk of rupture. He said it may be too risky to repair, Doctors at RWJ fixed it, They were wonderful

Dr Jankowitz did my brain surgery in 2016…I had a very large mengioma on the right front side of my head…He was a fantastic doctor explained everything to me ahead of time and I credit him with saving my life…

Dr. Jankowitz is the best and I can’t express how much I thank him for being there when I needed a terrific surgeon. I acquired a brain injury and my husband was told at the hospital to get our children there. They didn’t think I was going to make it but Dr. Jankowitz came in off hours and performed surgery. I believe he is an “Angel” and I am a “Miracle”. He truly has an exceptional gift and is brilliant as a surgeon! I will never forget what he did for me and will always talk highly of him! Dr. Jankowitz is an exceptional neurosurgeon; first and foremost he is forward-thinking and technically brilliant and thinks deeply and carefully about the unique needs of his patients; secondly, his interpersonal skills are superb - he listens, he is empathetic, natural and humble and a delight to talk to. He saved my life in the first procedure and in the following 3 procedures, he and his team showed the utmost care and competence. Today I am 100% recovered. My family and I are deeply grateful to him and I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Dr Jankowitz is an excellent surgeon. He saved my life, I had a severe stroke at work, I’m a nurse and work at Presbyterian Hospital. I thank God that Dr Jankowitz was there and available to care for me. He performed Angioplasty, right carotid stent and clot retrieval from my brain within 30 minutes of onset of symptoms. He sav ed my life, he saved my left side, my speech and vision. He is incredibly gifted. God Bless him. I was so fortunate to have had him Operate on me, Thank You Dr. Jankowit
