He was supposed to do a biopsy and cut me open in 4 places- I’m still recovering and have pain. DO NOT go to him!!!

I had a robotic hernia repair surgery in Dec. 2019 ... there was NO hernia!!! Dr. Gebhert failed to do a CAT Scan to verify the presence of a hernia. He went by touch. This is absolutely unacceptable in the practice of modern medicine. He than had the audacity to send me a bill . Worst doctor ever!!!

I went in for outpatient surgery for a hernia repair. As I was preparing to go home I passed out and had very low blood pressure. Turns out I had internal bleeding caused by the surgery and had to have a second emergency surgery and two days in ICU to fix that. Needless to say I wasn't very happy with these results, but it didn't seem to bother him at all.

I was admitted from the ER with Dr Gebhart as the surgeon oncall. Dr Gebhart was completely through with explaining the diagnosis and the options available in my situation. It was clear that needed my gallbladder removed. He was quick to write orders to give medication to numb the severe pain, made sure I was comfortable until I was able to get get worked into his already packed full day. He saw me in recovery, during evening rounds and even took late night calls from the hopsigal floor nurses after hours. Hands down, I would recommend Dr Gebhart to my family and friends. Excellent!!

Dr. Gebhart's bedside manner left quite a bit to be desired, I have three main complaints: 1) He does not communicate well. He scheduled me for surgery the same day I went in for an office appointment – I was not aware surgery was even an option. 2) He made an unprofessional comment about my modesty, after I undressed at his specification because of where my injury was located. 3) He and his RN were very rough with my incision site. It was uncomfortable at best, and hurt for several days after.

If you like being treated like a complainer and idiot, he's the man for you. Complete lack of caring. Truly poor treatment.

Does not want calls after "business hours" even though he says to call if you have a decline in current condition. So if you choose him, I suggest you not plan on having problems. Very arrogant.
