Like the way he listens and is very thorough. Looks at every angle of the cause of things. Doesn't overprescribe.

Best PCP I’ve ever had
Dr. Edwards has been my PCP for almost 2 years. He is extremely kind, personable, and passionate. He helped me get my blood pressure down to normal and has offered to be available in case I ever have any questions. He’s a great doctor and I don’t think I could ask for better!

What's to say?
( Mission Hosp told me 3/2023 he was no longer affiliated with them for over a year. I don't understand the confusion.) Tons of repeated blood work running up big bills at his own private clinic lab. Pages and pages and pages of lab tests. My blood was always normal. But no answers. I tiptoed outta there. (He probably still doesn't know I'm gone) I got an answer and got treated straight away on the very first visit with a different doctor. Total cost with my new doctor: $185 plus one $25 (after insurance) prescription and one diet change. Problem solved. Actual cost: priceless

Looks good on paper. Beware of downside
This man was my PCP for 11 months. It began well. I was soon subjected to sudden verbal + emotional abuse, intermittantly. He had unpredicable anger bursts over small things, then continue as if it never happened. He gaslighted my complaints. Said heartrate of 42 was ok because I was relaxing at home. He failed to diagnose +treat my common serious problem in general senior population. He at times kept his back to me during entire office visits. He never ordered even 1 preventative test recommended by insurance +CDC, tho I have a family history. I've never experienced such a negative doctor that sucked all hope out of me to the bone tho specialists all agreed all was OK +expected to stay that way. He lacks the basic human qualities that make a therapeutic PCP. I never felt emotionally safe with him after the early months. Any criticism +he punishes you passive-aggressively. He should go back to Emergency med care. He was w/out mercy at times of bullying. This is all true. Beware.

Dr Edwards
Dr Edwards is very easy to talk to and is very thorough. What impressed me most is how he remembered me and a complicated diagnosis from one visit to next. Very patient without being condescending. I would definitely recommend him- and I am a thirty + year RN! Takes a lot to impress me. Thank you Dr Edwards
