Dr. Drozdowski has been taking care of me since 2005. He was able to diagnose my rare condition after attemps at Cleveland clinic, U of Michigan and many specialists. Over the last 16 years he has taken great care of me and I wouldn't trust anyone else! He is a brilliant doctor!

Dr D has lost his passion and ability to treat the whole person and only wants his patients to see the light. He forgets that depression, anxiety and life affect the patient daily and how they respond to treatment and he holds this against them instead of asking if you’re having a difficult time. The motto of their practice is that they treat the whole patient - but Dr D has stopped doing this!! Such a shame because he used to be a good doctor.

Dr D is a good Doctor but the past two years he has become less understanding and more demanding that you tow the line. Isn’t he supposed to be treating you for your illnesses and see where you struggle not force you to do things their way? Especially this year with Covid, to be punished and fired as a patient for not obeying. It’s sad. He could be an excellent doctor of he remembered his compassion and to treat the whole person.

Goodrich Family – Feb 12, 2020

The office has been difficult, rude and reluctant to answer questions/help with my mother's ailing health. Staff is obviously "bothered" by having to help on the phone or at the window, to the point of one gal visibly sighing, sliding her window open and just staring at me, no greeting, nothing. When I asked a question, she told me to call the office and speak to a phone nurse.....while I was standing in the office. After I did so, the nurse called back and stated in voicemail that "the patient and family was already told this". My mother is EXTREMELY confused and forgetful, and my sister did not mention the dosage difference to me for the night before surgery. I simply needed to know the correct adjustment to be made to accommodate the fast before surgery. This was after the nurse couldn't tell ME what the regular dose would be, I had to look this information up and provide to her from the meds list the office provided the day before. All in all, very frustrating to deal with.

The main concern of Dr. Drozdowski and Lakeshore Internal Medicine is to make money. They are overwhelmed with too many patients and as such don't offer appropriate care for anyone.
