Worst Dr I’ve ever seen
Spent 10 minutes typing out my honest review and the website continued to censor me and would not allow me to post it. Let’s just say Dr. Cothern is the most rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional medical clinician I’ve ever encountered. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Cothern is a condescending arrogant person. He talks down to the patient and only listens when he thinks he is right. He doesn’t listen to the patient’s problems. I would never recommend him. He actually needs to either retire or be fired from the VA. I wonder why he left private practice to work at the VA.

Dr. Cothern is currently working for the Veterans Affairs Caldwell Clinic. I saw him today for problems I've been having and he sat there and told me I was full of crap basically. He refused to listen, talked to me like a child, accused me of lying, and other things. He would not help me with what I need. I am appalled the VA is employing this terrible doctor to treat veterans.

Told ME where my pain was rather than listening to where I told him it was. No sense of compassion, no warmth, just rushes in and out. I've had 3 experiences like this and fired him as my doctor.

Was really rude, didn't want to address all the problems I went to see him for, felt rushed, didn't explain what lab tests were for just said I needed them done. Left feeling like none of my problems got solved. Don't plan on returning.

We waited over an hour then he started talking to me about my request with other doctors instead of why we were there for my son not me. Broke the HEPA rules. I understand people make mistakes but this was wrong. He should have at the very least apologized for the long wait and I would have understood. The law is clear regarding the patient confidentiality but when doctors use this wrong it is not ok. I
