Consultation and PRP
Dr. Carr is terrific!! He has such empathy for his patients and does a superlative job explaining procedures, expectations and outcomes in a simple and effective manner. I came upon him by chance through Dr Shawn Jane, Good Samaritan and couldn't be more pleased.Today he administered a PRP injection for my injured and arthritic left shoulder. I am so pleased to give this procedure a chance.Should I proceed with shoulder replacement, Dr Carr will be my Orthopedist.

I would clone him if I could!
If only ALL physicians were as caring as Dr. Carr, the world would be a better place! I have had excellent results from bilateral total knee replacements: no incisional pain following the pre-op Iovera procedures, excellent alignment of both implants with robotic-assisted technique, no post-op complications, and quick healing of all incisions. I also received personable post-op care as Dr. Carr encourages his patients to text or call with any questions or issues. He was genuinely concerned about my well-being throughout this entire process. His staff are equally as helpful & respond quickly for any needs. Highly recommended.

Bad experience
I am a patient of Dr Carr and have seen him on 2 prior occasions before I am writing this review. I fell and fractured my left shoulder in NY at a hotel on a stop over before leaving for our trip. Was taken to ER and later determined I did indeed fracture my shoulder. Upon my return to LV I went to see Dr Carr. I brought with me the x ray and report from the hospital. He went over the report with me and told me to get another x ray in 5 weeks. I was sent home in a great deals of pain and the flimsy Sling that was given to me in ER in NY. He did not recommend a ct scan or give me any information on how I was to manage this fracture at home. I left the office with my husband in severe pain . No one from the office ever followed up on me to see how I was managing, sleeping, and showering. Thank goodness our neighbor who is a retired ortho dr. Came in to check on me and give me some exercises that I could do. Is this conceige Ortho? Thank goodness I went for a second opinion

This review is a long time coming! It's been 2 years since having both hips replaced by Dr. Carr. The untimely review is not because of any issues with the surgery but completely the opposite. The amazing job Dr. Carr did with the surgeries got me back to what some people call "getting a new lease on life" but for me it was being able to get back to "Living Life" not leasing it. For me at 66 now I've been able to get back to my photography and hiking. His staff was amazing and he was always available to answer any questions I had. His concern for the patient and their whole surgery/recovery is second to none! His family is vested in his success and makes you feel like you are actually part of his family. I never felt I was going down this road (twice) by myself. I have referred others to him and they all give me feedback saying really cares about his patients. Prior to my surgeries he put on a voluntary group to explain surgery procedures and what to expect during post surgery and recovery. Amazing staff, doctor and results!!

5+++++ Star if I could
Dr. Carr was an absolute savior! My mom fell and badly broke her arm the day before I was leaving to fly to another country. Like bad, bad too. It look like a “S” and she had a cut due to the bone sticking out. It’s just my mom and I so I had a lot of stress on rather I should go, etc. That night Dr.Carr came in and just eased my mind that she was in good hands and will be ok during recovery. He made her at ease and wasn’t like normal doctors that are in and out. He stayed to talk, build that client relationship and really went above and beyond. Gave me his contact and has been in touch with me regarding everything with her giving me SOO much piece of mind. He did a great job on the surgery, but he went above and beyond being sympathetic and kind to the situation at hand, which is rare to see. He’s a gem to the field and I’m thankful we had him assigned to my mom.

If you need ortho surgery, you need Dr. Brian Carr
If you need orthopedic surgery, you need Dr. Brian Carr. After years of being told I needed a knee replacement because that’s where I had pain, a knee surgeon recommended I get a hip replacement first! I saw two surgeons within my insurance network who probably were qualified but were more focused on scheduling than explaining. I knew there had to be a better alternative. There was. My initial evaluation with Dr. Carr was different in all the right ways. No rush, he sat beside me and explained the X-ray of my hip that I was seeing and what the anterior approach (only way to go) would entail. He also predicted my knee pain would resolve as a result of the hip replacement. I was hopeful for the knee but skeptical The post-surgical time is as close to pain-free as possible and my knee has stopped hurting, entirely! Post-op questions I had were only a phone call away to receive the answer. I had total trust in Dr. Carr and his skills and that has been confirmed every step of the way.

Dr. Carr is terrific, wish I could give him 10 stars. He is a great surgeon, knowledgeable, compassionate, and informative. I felt at ease from day one with him and confident in his expert medical care for my 98 yr old mother who fractured her tibia and fibula. To top it all off he gave me his cell phone number to either text him or talk personally with him about any concerns I might have about my mother. What doctor does this Dr. Carr does. All I can say if you want the best, Dr. Carr is your man.

After 7 knee surgeries, in April I had a total left knee replacement and in June I had a total right knee replacement. It is now the beginning of August and I feel great. Dr. Carr is one of the most capable, caring and compassionate person I know. I have his cell number and text him whenever the need arises and his response time is almost immediate. He and is staff are the best. You can't go wrong here.

My experience with Dr Carr was fabulous ,second to none Dr Carr is great surgeon,he restored my knee to the point that 3 months post op I am able to kneel down & groom my dog daily free of pain . The surgery was about noon on Monday ,Tuesday before noon I was released for home. His personality if great,when you speak to Dr Carr,he makes you very comfortable ,as if you were visiting with your brother or son. But his knowledge & experience its vast & although you may want to get second opinion ,with Dr Carr - I never felt that I needed it . He is the Tops The lady upfront,it’s a bit harsh & could use a bit more training on PR,as most patients do not know how this office operates ,besides they are there d/t pain & moderate anxiety already . I have been to multiple Ortho surgeon, most were OK,but they use PAs for teaching & injections. With dr CARR - you actually get the Doctor himself from A - Z

World-class surgeon, World-class man. I just completed surgery with Dr. Carr, and he blew all my expectation out of the water. I broke my leg a week ago, and was advised to see an orthopedic surgeon, as my break seemed a nasty one to my primary doctor. I totally lucked out when he recommended me to see Dr. Carr. I expected to be seen and fixed to the best of a surgeons ability, but I did not expect how good the experience would be with Dr. Carr. This man was a surgeon for the U.S. Army in the Middle East piecing back together our fine men and women, giving them hope in situations where they may not have had much. His experience is world-class. He’s also just a great guy. Takes so much time to listen, explain and make you feel comfortable. He exudes kindness, positivity, empathy and professionalism. All the hospital staff sang his praises before surgery, they’re all big fans and it’s easy to see why. I’m so lucky to have found Dr. Carr. Choose him and you’ll feel lucky too

Excellent.... best doctor I have ever been to in Las Vegas. Prior knee surgery with another doctor was horrendous and painful. Dr Carr is a down to earth physician that respects his patients. Couldn’t be any better pre-op or post-op total knee replacement surgery. Many thanks to Dr. Carr and Marisa for making this Robotic Knee replacement surgery with minimal pain and recovery.

Dr Carr is very compassionate and he is always there to answer questions. The performance of my knee replacement is exceptional and I’ve had minimum pain. I walked fifty miles on a two week trip, after only three months. When it’s time to do the other knee he is the only doctor I would consider. His assistant Marissa is also exceptional.

I recently had total right hip replacement done by Dr. Carr. He is the most qualified and outstanding communicator I’ve ever encountered in the medical field. He gave my wife and I his cell number and stayed intouch throughout my recovery. I would highly recommend doctor Carr. He made the surgery very pleasant experience. Very caring doctor.
