Dr B saved my significant other's life! She coded 3 times and his quick action to open the coronary artery blockage, insert a stent, and then insert an impeller. saved her life and prevented permanent heart damage. Afterwards, he explained what he did and the expected results, He was honest in the possible negative outcomes and was very candid in answering our questions.He visited her in ICU and kept the family updated.I highly recommend Dr. B!

I am 67 and I use a wheelchair with the assistance of my hysband. This was my first visit ever to a cardiovascular doctor ever. This was a great experience. Dr. Brian Borkowski is one of the nicest doctors I have ever seen. He sat down in the chair between me and my husband. I liked that a lot. He made me feel like his equal, and as a female patient, that was particularly special to me. He introduced himself, told us about how he practices medicine. He was attentive to me and my husband. He explained EVERYTHING very well, starting with the medical terminology, then more easily understandable terminology, then a great and cute analogy. This way of communicating was so delightful and helpful. It was an awesome exam experience.

Very professional

I went to Dr. Brokowski after a Hypertension crisis and poor management of blood pressure. He was extremely thorough and explained everything. By trade, I'm a Registered Nurse, but he still took time to explain things that we were doing. The reasons why and what to expect. Nothing was rushed. His bedside manner is impeccable. Not only is he smart, he is personable and the entire staff at Sutherland Cardiology is amazing. I can't say enough about him and the staff. I'm SUPER picky about who I see. Hands down one of my favorites.

First time visit. The doctor was energetic, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to show me how to use my smart watch to do EKG. He didn't pass me off to his nurse. Thank you
