My husband was transported to Akron City Hospital Summa Health as a very sick man with Covid. He was the first to call me from the hospital after he evaluated my husband who had Covid pneumonia. Dr Bauman took the time to go over things with me and what he expects with his case as He was on a ventilator. He was a very caring, compassionate doctor over the phone from the hospital and asked if I had any questions and answered anything I asked. He had time for me as a spouse. If I need a pulmonogist in the future, I would consider driving the hour to his office. To me, he seemed to know what he was doing and how to handle situation at hand.
