WAS a great doctor in the Prime Med Days
She was actually a great doctor back in the prime med days. Now a Geisinger doctor she lost her way, turned into another mediocre one. Sad that has happened.

5 Stars! Great Doctor
5 stars for Dr Tinsley. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I am very comfortable with her. She answers you through the patient portal like almost every other Dr in the 21st century. She is awesome! Highly recommend.

She does not care about her patients , especially ones with special needs who's been waiting for a wheelchair prescription for 3 years now. Everything is just lost. They know nothing and do not care. I'm still waiting for the past two years for her to call back and has not .

Dr. Tinsley is a very considerate, caring, excellent physician. She addresses any and all questions you have as to your care. For those who expect a personal call from her, shame on you. I worked for several physicians for almost 7 years. Out of all of them 2 addressed patients themselves when it was urgent. You do not really have a grasp on the internal responsibility or staff of a physicians office. She is one of the 3 doctors I would ever recommend for care. She has always been polite and never made me feel as if my issues were irrelevant or important. I have worked for understaffed offices and know how difficult it is to handle all matters referring to patients. Her office is definitely understaffed with 2 physicians to attend to patients. She has even handled many health issues that have been brushed off or unaddressed by specialists I have seen. They frequently like to pass the buck to your PCP. I am lucky to have such a caring, highly experienced physician.

Stay away. She doesn’t care about her patients. She is too into herself to get her hands dirty. She’s too high above everyone else that she herself doesn’t return calls from her own patients. Complains when patients asks for referrals to physicians who can help and actually care about the well being of them. If you can’t figure it out, you should refer. Not sure why she became a physician.

Don't ever ever go there .... The staff is rude she would rather have you die then take concern on what she is doing to your health ......puts you on medication then decides to stop giving you any more refills even though you need it for your back AND can give u a heart attack ... She is more concerned about her imcompent staff then her patients health ...

Dr Tinsley truly does not care about patients. It took two weeks for her to review labs and never spoke to me directly. She is very forgetful and you have to be your own advocate when you're sick. She barely spends and time with you or asks if you have any questions. She is not clear about what she is ordering or with a plan.

Doesn't review test results with patients, has the women working the desk call and give you unclear messages. Takes weeks to learn of test results and doesn't ever talk about a plan of care or what to do next when you're truly ill.

Dr. Tinsley is a great doctor. She is very reliable and shows genuine care toward her patients. I have nothing negative to say about her. However, I do have a complaint about one of the secretaries in her peckville office. The secretary was very rude when she answered the phone. I called with a concern for my doctor and she gave me her own medical opinion instead of telling Dr. Tinsley. It is truly concerning that she is giving medical advice out to patients without consulting with the Doctor.
