Honestly, I'm disappointed to have to rate Dr Thorpe so low because I do like him. But on the phone today I also found myself saying "never mind, forget it I will find another Dr." He was able to give me 2 diagnoses that have at least steered me in the right direction, but we were far from done. It's not necessarily him it's his staff, office, and the way it's run. He does take time to listen to you, discuss options for treatment and make a plan. But he has so many patients, he's booked out more than 2 months and even his NP more than a month. And I'm already a patient! I had to cancel an appointment because of a surgery I had to have and I've been in a lot of pain since. It now seems it could be GI related and I really needed to see him asap and get back on track with my treatment plan. They didn't seem to care much at all. If I can't get in to see him when I need to, what's the point. I'll be worse off than I am now. To top it off his website still says he's accepting new patients!

I have had a difficult case of Crohn’s and been under the care of an amazing GI for 15 years, but recently moved to Utah County and found myself looking for a new GI. Dr. Thorpe stood out from the others I researched, and to my delight has been exactly what I needed to take over for my old GI family. He listens with compassion and respect, was quick to respond to my care needs, and has the expertise and mindset to care for challenging cases. I highly recommend him and his PA Cydne Evans!

I really like Dr. Thorpe but he is ALWAYS booked at least 3 months out. I have contemplated switching to a new doctor purely because I can never get in to see him, even when it was Emergent and I was in the ER. I've had several interactions with his RN on the phone and in person where she has not been kind or compassionate at all. The staff in the front office are always kind. I love his PA Cydne Evans. She is very compassionate and listens to me but there is only so much a PA can do.

I really like Dr. Thorpe as a doctor, I saw him once for some severe health issues happening and he was great. I gave him a one because of his office staff. This review is not based on once incident it's based on several separate interactions with his office staff over the course of a year. I even called Revere Health administration and was treated with the same heart-less inconsideration about the issue. I love revere health - but definitely steer clear of this office until they get new staff

He is an amazing doctor. I have had experiences where I feel like another number to the physicians treating me. not once did I feel that way with Dr Thorpe. He is kind, helpful, and concerned with his patients having the very best experience possible.
