Who calls you at home the night after surgery to see how you're doing? No one else in health care. Good luck even getting someone, anyone on the phone. I was so nervous I've probably spoken to the whole staff. If you live anywhere in US and can get to Harrisburg, Pa. this is the guy (Brett Ernst). Even though I was paying for the corrective lenses and kept asking for the near all focus lenses and willing to pay for them he kept insisting, and ultimately refused to. Weeks of research and he was so right. In a world of everyone in Medicine pushing the "upsell", this guy is only concerned with patient outcome. Got the right one done, was so nervous. Now can't wait to get the left.

My husband had poor results with the cataract surgery that Dr. Ernst performed. We had to find other surgeons out of the area to repair the damage.

My follo-ups are always professional and friendly! I love Dr. Ernst !! He and the staff take good care of us. Eye sight is a precious gift from God and to have Dr. Ernst care for mine, I am blessed. The technicians and Dr. Ernst are wonderful--high degree of expertise and also very caring. The degree of everyone's patience is also great. Dr. Ernst is very skilled and is thorough. The only negative comment I have is that appointments seem to be too closely booked, making your appointment seem rushed.

Dr Ernst is highly recommended and apairently a good surgeon, BUT runs an assembly line..spends little time with patients. At my post op appt. I waited 35 min. In exam room for him to come in. Looked at my eye for LESS than 2 min and all he said was it looks great.. AND then when I checked out there was a fee for a post op exam .. HAVE NEVER HAD OR HEARD OF A CHANGE FOR POST OP CHECK .

I can't say enough of how great his staff was and Dr. Ernst is the best.

My appointment was with Dr. Ernst who checked my left eye...pressure...because of glaucoma. He answered my questions with clarity and understanding.

Dr. Ernst did my LASIK over 20 years ago and I'm still enjoy being free of glasses.
