Dr. Bret Hubbard, DO

Dr. Hubbard saved my life. I was on alot of medications due to PKD, fractured neck, brain injury, and seizures. I was given medication for a lengthy period of more than 5 years. Psych meds, Valium, Xanax, etc. My urine was showing a different drug; this was due to my kidney disease. Dr Hubbard erred on the side of caution and cut me off. I was forced to wean myself off, it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I still deal with PTSD, Depression, anxiety, manic/insomnia, etc. Finally, in February I was diagnosed with an Arachnoid Cyst, Chiara 1 displacing my cerebellum left of center by 4 cm. It affects my strength and balance, and my memory. So I fired all my doctors and weaned off of all my medications. It has brought such clarity, both personally and spiritually. Dr. Hubbard is a fair, cautious, and professional. He cares about the whole person, and he manages the tight rope of the burrocracy of medicine with unparalleled grace and holistic concern for his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Hubbard since 2015. I could not find a better primary doctor. I'm so baffled by some of the truly negative comments. First and foremost he tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. I've never been rushed and he always hears me out. He's leaves no stone unturned and just don't understand why they say so little in their post. I guarantee this - don't bs him and he won't bs you. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who truly needs top notch treatmen

He made me feel terrible about myself. No matter what was going on he always found a way to bring it back to my weight. He joked that I was a pretty girl I just shouldn't wear horizontal stripes. Put me on a 700 cal/day diet & I followed Exactly & when I hadn't lost anything he said I was lying. Turns out I had PCOS but when I told him this he said my gynecologist must be wrong because I had children. Again tried to put me on weight loss medication. They could never get me in when I was sick.
