It is truly frightening that this person has a license to practice medicine. This person not only lacks the ability to listen but also has an atrocious bedside manner. After lacking the knowledge to properly diagnose my condition he became disdainful and verbally abusive. He no longer searched for the answers that the better doctors I saw following him were able to find. As I tearfully begged this person to simply agree to disagree he continued to berate me with insulting questions. Despite my popularity in school, my participation in athletics and social clubs, and achieving nearly straight A’s leading to my bachelors degree in bio psychology; this supposed medical professional accused me several times of “having trouble in school and having difficulty making friends” causing my condition. I left his office that day crying hysterically feeling sick and defeated, and I never looked back. I’m writing this in hopes that no one else will have to go through the experience I had to endure.

I have worked with different GI doctors as I move every few years. Over 20 years I’ve had chronic (all GI related) illness...Dr. Myers was the WORST GI or just doctor I’ve ever had to unfortunately see for a bit. He does not listen, very dismissive and really just seemed to be annoyed at my needs from a doctor. If you can’t handle GI issues, he should retire.

I was disturbed by the low reviews but encouraged by the five-star reviews. I needed the colonoscopy/endoscopy as soon as possible to rule out possible cancer. Other GI docs couldn't see me for another month. Scheduled a consultation within a few days, the procedure 10 days after. Staff called me to ask if I wanted to take an earlier cancellation slot. Yes! Everything went great, absolutely no complaints, I would definitely use him again. He is now MY gastroentologist.

I was a patient for 11 years. I had a chronic condition which I feared was impossible to cure. Dr Myers was unfailingly kind, gentle and low keyed in his approach. With patience and persistence, we tried various courses of treatment until he identified a new and promising option. My disease has been gone for 5 years now. I am grateful that Dr Myers never gave up researching a cure and never failed to support me.

I have seen the Doctor twice. I am wondering after reading these reviews which perception is correct, mine or the other people's. I found the doctor polite, attentive, could have asked for a # of invasive tests as other doctors have, but under the patient's particular description of symptoms, instead took the conservative approach. I am certainly hoping my perception is the correct one

I love Dr. Myers and all of his staff both in his office and the surgical center. He performed both of my procedures, a endoscopy and colonoscopy. I was very nervous with the endoscopy due to me being such a chicken lol but Dr. Myers was very understanding which made me feel so much better. I really liked the anesthesiologist too, Jorge, also the nurse Andrea was a big help. I wish I could remember everyone's name who assisted me. great bunch of people! I will definitely go back for any of my gastro needs! Thank you....

This a doctor who does NOT listen to his patient. I tried to explain why I came to see him. His ‘exam’ was so fake, I could tell he was just going through the motions. At the end of the visit I was told to get a procedure scheduled that would have had nothing to do with why I was there to see him. I was given the office notes upon checkout. When I read the notes, there were things on there that I NEVER said! I wouldn’t be surprised if you told him you had a headache he would schedule your for a colonoscopy. Heed these reviews and FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!

Horrible. Zero people skills. When he entered the room, I stood up to shake his hand, and he sat right down without even looking at me and went right down the list of scripted questions (which nurse already asked). Absolutely no dialogue. His physical exam was an absolute joke, it was over in 5 seconds (whats the point). He went over colonoscopy results while I was under anesthesia and couldn't remember anything (again whats the point). Never called with biopsy results as promised. Does not care

Brent Myers , is a judgmental, unprofessional person ( i do not consider him a doctor). He does not know how to speak to patients properly nor does he care of the consequences of his inappropriate behavior. A true doctor had morals and ethics that do not allow ignorant judgements cloud the way they perform on every patient .

Dr. Myers is an excellent doctor. He conveys results and issues in terms easy to understand. At times, he can be direct when need be. I will never go anywhere else! He is a good listener and does not always say what you want to hear but will tell you what you NEED to hear.

Normally pretty good, but not this time. He promised to call me with test results on a Thursday, never called. I put in calls late Thursday, no call, call in on Friday, no call. Now Monday and I just called and left yet another message. Not happy.

I am shocked by some of the less than average reviews. Dr.Myer, as well as his staff from beginning to end was professional, comforting & knowledgeable. We had the shortest wait time of any Dr. office I have ever been to; the procedure, was fast and efficient. The staff, who happened to be short staffed that morning, was on top of their game and we felt more than well cared for by all involved. Not only that, the staff was engaging and extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience.

Last year I went to Dr. Myers for a bowel issue. I mentioned to him that I was extremely tired all the time. He checked my chart and found that my iron levels were low. He insisted that I have a colonoscopy, which I had 4 years ago. I stated that I did not feel this was necessary. He was very insistent and thankfully I listened. After the procedure, he informed me that I had colon cancer. It was detected early, I had surgery, and didn't need any further treatment. I am very grateful.
