Disturbing
Dr. Brendan O’Hare was very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful! He was in a hurry and did not listen to my concerns. He asked me confident information walking down the hall! I would not recommend him to anyone!!

Very caring
I have been having stomach issues for years and have been just “dealing” with it. Talked to Dr O’Hare about it and he agreed to take a look. Turns out I didn’t have anything that required surgery. Naturally I was pleased. Dr O’Hare was friendly and caring. He wasn’t dismissive about my concerns. His staff was wonderful.

Will not recommend.
I felt he was dismissive of me. Told me to try something I had already tried. That what was going on with me was more normal than not. I would just have to live with it. I had waited 3 months to see him. He got paid and I got “no satisfaction”!

Liar and inattentive
Well, my first colonoscopy is complete - and last at this facility.Doctor's note had a demonstrable lie, geared toward having me return in a year for another examination... despite not finding any abnormalities, and pictures demonstrating the opposite of the note. Consistent with the other poor reviews here indicating this place is in it only for the money.

Consultation for symptoms
Dr. O’Hare took the time to listen to my complaints and explained them in a way that made sense. He was clear and concise. I appreciate the advice he gave. Although my exam was brief (basically a history) I was told to return if my symptoms don’t resolve. He seemed to be very knowledgeable.

Worst Physician I’ve ever seen.
This “Dr.” was rude, condescending and presented himself as a know it all with a God-like complex. He predetermined the outcome of my scopes and literally NEVER touched my abdomen. Absolutely the WORST Dr. I’ve ever visited in my life. Less than 5 minutes at best with ZERO examination. He doesn’t deserve one star. He is worthy of a ZERO. And I will be reporting him to the state medical board. I wouldn’t trust him to treat my dog. Terrible, to say the least.

Highly do NOT recommend
Looks as if he is spaced out thinking about something else while your explaining your situation, cuts you short, pretty much tells you its in your head and cant really explain his answers to your simple questions, acts as if hes just there for pay day. Told me that over counter meds like tums temporarily helped because i let my brain say they were but yet couldnt answer why the prescribed meds didnt help. Told me that terrible belching, bloating and gas build up was associated with a skeletal issue. No need to run test, shook my hand and said sorry i cant help you. An hour drive for 5 minutes of nothing. Im no doctor but im not stupid either like he made me look. Never again! Doctors like this see you as numbers anymore and dont care if they help you or not. Guess I start over with my PCP which is the ONLY thing he even suggested. Was a very humiliating visit.

Disrespectful Doesn’t Care
He rushed the lab I was supposed to have but I don’t even believe he did anything. I woke up 5 minutes later after being put to sleep. He made me pay 690$ for the lab to do absolutely nothing and then claim he done two procedures on me but I’m not understanding how that’s even possible if I only was sleep for under 10 minutes. This man didn’t care to help me he broke me to pieces to take my money and lie to me.

Quite literally the worse doctor visit I’ve ever had. My PCP scheduled me a consultation with St. Thomas and there was zero communication that the appointment was changed to a different date. After proceeding to wait hours to see a doctor. Dr. O’Hare was insensitive and dismissive to my issues. Had told me he treated people with worse conditions than me and invalidated my concerns. Treated me with zero empathy. Did not give any helpful medical advice that my PCP hadn’t already suggested. Staff on the medical floor made me feel stupid and embarrassed. I would not recommend this doctor or the hospital to anyone looking for quality medical care. Wasted my time and my energy. So very disappointed with the morals and standards that this doctor and this hospital hold themselves to. Honestly traumatized from this experience. Thank you for absolutely nothing!

Wouldn’t recommend
Dismissive and condescending; do not recommend. My appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. He did not do an evaluation at all, despite me explaining it took a year to get in and I have a history of colon, pancreatic, and stomach cancers. My dad died recently of gastro cancer and my grandfather passed, as well from gastro cancer. I already have polyps and some severe issues with daily nausea, bloating, bleeding, etc… He had his spiel teed up about how I don’t need an evaluation and the symptoms I have are probably related to something else (how would he know without an evaluation - correlation is not causation!) Why get into medicine if you don’t want to practice it?So imagine my disappointment- after a year to get this appointment and now I am back to square one to find another doctor. It’s a shame because his support staff is great.

Would never recommend him to anyone
I saw Dr. O'hare last year for my endoscopy. He was very condescending and arrogant in the way he talked to me. Nothing like spending $250 for your copay to leave your procedure feeling more defeated than you did when you went in. I was told that my "hiatal hernia doesn't cause pain". My favorite was "We normally don't do these on people your age so I doubt I'll find anything". He told me that before my procedure and I don't feel confident that he actually took it seriously. He came in after and told me that as he suspected he didn't find anything. Yet here I am a year later in worse pain than before. I have never felt so dismissed, defeated, and disrespected by a doctor in my entire life, even humiliated. He treated me as if I wanted to have this procedure for fun. I could barely afford that $250. His bedside manners are the worst I've encountered. I highly recommend you see someone else.
