stuck a camera down my throat per my pcp's request. told me my post nasal drip isn't a real issue even though I've been dealing with it for years. everyone has it? please. the bill was like $800 just for him to tell me to stop clearing my throat and then maybe I won't feel the need to clear my throat constantly anymore. worthless.

Condescending and Uninterested
It is a shame when doctors do not care about their patients. If you want to find someone who is genuinely invested in your health and will treat you respectfully, look elsewhere.

Dr Gaylis is an outstanding surgeon who demonstrates perseverance on behalf of his patients. He will do everything in his power to ensure that his patients get the best possible results as he really cares about them. He treated my 85 year old husband with kindness and consideration as well as fully explaining every procedure and the possible outcome to me. I am so grateful that we were referred to Dr Gaylis as I feel that my husband had a wonderful surgeon who took the time and patience to ensure that he got the best treatment available. Thank you Dr Gaylis

This was the second time I saw this Dr. I went back because symptoms had changed and were worse. I will not see this Dr ever again! He was not interested in what I had to say, didn’t ask pertinent medical questions, didn’t check my throat ( I was having throat, ear problems). Told me not to think about it!? What a waste of my time and money! If I could I would have given zero stars!

Dr Gaylis was my surgeon when I had a growth removed from my thyroid last February. He was very competent and professional. Best of all, the scar is barely noticeable on my neck 5 months later. I recommend him highly. Dr Elise Curry

Dr. Gaylis is a man of few words but he explained all situations and surgery details for removal of a tumor in my salivary gland very well. I found him to be warm and caring. His suture work is beautiful and I expect no scarring. Very pleased with the outcome of my medical procedure.

Surgery was more extensive than planned. I thought that was ok until I read the surgical report where he started with areas which were not planned and then worked on the planned areas. Was it more $ he wanted, arrogance, or incompetence? Never again.

Dr. Gaylis was kind and supportive in explaining my options after Mohs surgery on my nose. He understood my concern about having surgery on such a visible area. I was very pleased with the outcome of the surgery, and would recommend Dr. Gaylis to others.

Treated me with utter contempt- he looked visibly disgusted, barely looked me over, and told me I didn't want to fix the problem I went in for that's been bothering me for decades. Considering lodging an official complaint- I'd avoid him like the plague, he's no business practising medicine if he can't treat his patients with an ounce of respect. Never been treated this badly by a doctor before.
