Seemed very uninterested in talking to me on the day of surgery (makes sense when NP and RN do all of the talking up until the day of). Was blunt and did not explain. Told me what I needed to do, I expressed concerns, and instead of addressing those, it was a 'well, I won't guarantee I will operate on you later and I'm not going to say I will approve anything'. O.k... Well I am sitting here on an operating table and you just now tell me I need to have something removed but we haven't addressed my options after...and you are saying you won't give me options later?' and then has me put to sleep. I cancelled my follow up and am switching clinics. If you choose to have a NP and a RN on the phone tell me I can have this revision and all of it is taken care of, and then I get on a table and you yourself say Nope.... Perhaps host your own appointments and verify I get the info I need before making a permanent decision and telling me it isn't possible when I am already sitting on the table.

Dr. Sewing answered all my questions thoroughly, she had a great bedside manner and was very professional. I would definitely go back to her again if I ever need another surgery. She was great! I had very little discomfort afterward and recovery was quick.

She has absolutely terrible bedside manner. After having her perform a simple procedure on me, I woke up in more pain than any of my previous 6 surgeries mostly more invasive than the one she preformed, or any of the surgeries I've had since. I ended up with an internal hernia and adhesions which had to be surgically repaired in Fargo, which literally saved my life, I was dying. Go to Fargo if you want a decent surgery, hands down I am completely dead serious. She will seriously mess you up.
