He’s great, highly recommend
He’s always professional, shakes my hand, is friendly, to the point, focuses on any problems, and handles requests and insurance without a hiccup. Staff is better than most medical places. I moved almost an hour away and still drive to see him.

Great experience, great doctor
It's rare to find good doctors these days and when I came to his office first I was expecting the (sadly) typical 30 second 'do this and that and then we can schedule a bunch of expensive tests' visit where the doctor barely looks up his chart, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a very good experience during and after a health scare with Dr. Szeto. He was patient and to the point, explained things well, and he and his office handled all details of the procedure efficiently and effectively.

66 year old female
I chose Dr Szeto because of his experience and reviews. I have a few autoimmune issues, but my bowel issues were the reason I made an appt. I have had problems (IBS, gall bladder removed, frequent episodes of diarrhea & constipation, diverticulitis, gastroenteritis’s etc.) I had a bowel resection that removed 12” of my sigmoid colon and family history of colon cancer. I had not had a colonoscopy for 4+ years. I got so sick with diarrhea, fever, nausea and dehydration before my appt. that I called the office before my appt. and was told to go to ER. I didn’t go because I did not want a different doctor so I self medicated for a week at home. When I saw Dr Szeto, he was very thorough in reviewing my medical history and medications and since I had so many other problems he would refer me to UT Southwestern to find out if another issue was causing my bowel problems. My last colonoscopy was 4+ years ago. I called back to see why that was not an option. I am waiting for response.

I would not recommend Dr. Szeto to anyone. I prepped 2 days for my procedure and was not able to get it done due to being advised by Dr. Szeto staff to not take insulin the day before my procedure and the day of my procedure. I am a diabetic so insulin is essential, however I was told not to take any which is what I did. So the day of my procedure they checked and my sugar was elevated, if anyone knows anything about being a diabetic anything can cause your sugar to rise you can have an infection you don't know about, the medication that I had to drink to prepare for the procedure could have caused a spike, but because it was high they would not proceed and he could not offer any suggestions so I wasted two days of not eating and prepping for nothing. He knew I was a diabetic and still the staff advised me to not take any insulin, and all he could say was I am sorry. I would never recommend him at all.

Didn’t know what to expect
This was my first colonoscopy and I was a little nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The procedure went well better than I expected so to anyone reading this and it’s your first time there is nothing to be nervous about. There was no pain well I take that back the only pain I felt was when the nurse was taking the tape off my arm from the iv…

Dr. Brandon Szeto
Dr. Szeto is analytical, patient and thorough. I had acid reflux problems and had been coughing for weeks, and other GI specialists had failed to treat my symptoms. Dr. Szeto took me on as a new patient and promptly arranged both a colonoscopy and endoscopy for me, identified the problems and prescribed appropriate medications. I am finally cured of my problems and am grateful for his service. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great Dr/Office
New patient with Dr. Szeto. He was very good at answering my questions and addressing my concerns with treatment. He was also willing to prescribe a medication I previously had success with, and recommended a lower cost option as well. The office staff are also very nice and good at responding to messages on the portal.

Dr. Szeto, is caring, compassionate, and comforting. He made my experience a pleasant experience with all things considered. He thoroughly explained my procedure and what to expect and how to prepare for it. He removed any and all fears that I had. He answered all of my questions and questions that I didn't know that I had. The entire team that assisted me from scheduling my appointment, to monitoring my vitals, to my after care were beyond amazing. They were customer service at its best. I highly recommend Dr. Szeto and I am glad that I was referred to him by my primary physician. He is a wonderful doctor!!!
