I AM A RETIRED SURGEON therefore, extremely particular when choosing a surgeon. While searching for spine surgeons, what kept my attention on Dr. Kambach reviews was that few patients decided to give him just a 'one-star review.' These patients seem to have serious psychological, mental or emotional issues in which everything they see or encounter is judged as a half glass empty in all aspects of their life. Please, ignore these 'one-star' reviews. Dr. Kambach answered in a detailed manner all my questions regarding my condition, surgery expectation and future recovery.  I had an excellent doctor patient interaction, I felt assured. The surgery and post-op was excellent, little discomfort and no complications. A special appreciation to Laura, his personal assistant and Amanda his surgery scheduler for their excellent communication, a five star customer service. Please, ignore these nonsense 'one-star” reviews. I do fully recommend Dr. Kambach to take care of your surgical condition.

Fantastic experience. Had a serious sciatica issue that required surgery. He was very thorough in performing the surgery and the follow up. One of the best doctors I’ve ever had. I highly recommend him.

Saw Dr. Kambach @ Baptist South office. I found Dr. Kambach to be very interested in my back pain. He was very thorough ordering x-rays in his office, then ordering an MRI. I found him to be very personable & genuinely concerned about me.

Absolutely should not be a doctor. Does not care about patients at all. Worst medical experience we have ever had.

I had high hopes for Brandon, but he was simply too busy to meet my expectations. He was either very late or didn't have adequate amount of time to spend with me regarding very serious surgery. I would not recommend to friends and family.

I came back to hospital with severe weakness and pain from infection that caused my neck.to collapse. I needed dr. Cambach to continue my pain medication until I got into pain management. The soonest I could get into pain management is a month out. Dr. Cambach refused to prescribe any pain medicine knowing that the hospital dr. Will not prescribe me for more than a week. He knows I am on a high dose of pain meds.and I won't have any quality of life at all without my meds and b n severe withdraws

I had broken my back 2 years prior to my surgery, so I had caused a lot more damage and scar tissue around the break. The staff and doctors talked me through everything I could expect. On the day of the surgery I was not nervous about the surgery. After my surgery I had 2 small scars and you would never knew I had broken my back today!

Dr. Kambach is a poor communicator and ignored pre-surgery questions. Surgery brought maybe 80-85% relief ... not good enough. Post-surgery was provided by a very good PA who tried their best to answer questions; but not enough information was provided to suit me. I would not recommend Dr. Kambach for lower back surgery!

Dr. Kambach's experience and expertise are exceptional. He knows what he is doing, is very straightforward and although some state he is not very personable remember he is a surgeon not a family doc. Husband had extreme back pain following an injury for months, nothing alleviated the pain and nerve symptoms. Following surgery, he is now almost pain free and that is only from the actual surgery and is regaining his strength and stamina again. As far as a spine surgeon, he is one of the best.
