Compassionate and Knowledgeable
I have been struggling with a severe chronic condition that is flaring. I was urgently referred to Dr. Haynes and honestly expected to just be ignored and placated. Instead he'd taken the time to read my history (yes, really) was compassionate and comforting, acknowledged how painful and difficult my illness is, rx'd medication to at least reduce my pain and gave me good information and suggestions for treatment that I can further pursue. I was so grateful and relieved I started sobbing in his office. He didn't get annoyed, he offered me tissues and more kindness. I've been in the ER multiple times for this the past few months, I feel like I'm drowning in endless pain. He did more in one visit than all those trips combined. Having something to abate my symptoms has been such a relief, and being treated like a human being and being heard and seen was absolutely everything. I am so grateful. A total professional with compassion.

Dr. Haynes was by far the best urologist I’ve come in contact with after seeing so many urologists for my kidney stone problem. I made an appointment the staff was polite and professional and Dr. Haynes didn’t waste anytime regarding getting me treated. I was seen one day and within the next 2 weeks I was scheduled for surgery. I have not had any issues since. I would recommend Urology Group of Southern California to anyone!!!

One of the worst physicians I have ever dealt with! He does not have the courtesy to call patients or families. I was able to reach his partners and they give him the message and he doesn’t have the decency to call back. Saint Joseph in Burbank reached out to this urologist and I recommend to stay away. When calling his office and answering service that barely speaks English answers and will not let you reach the physician.. He is the type of doctor that makes the medical profession look horrible!

Most unprofessional doctor I’ve come across. He was very rude and always interrupted me when speaking. The only reason I’m giving him a 2 star than a 1 star was because he still told me to get a 2nd opinion and booked me one for it. Other than, do not waste your money to see this guy.

If you need a prescription, Dr. Haynes is adequate. If you need anything beyond that, I would try to see a different urologist.

Of the many medical professionals I've dealt with throughout my journey with cancer, Brandon Haynes has been the most wildly unprofessional. I was referred to another urologist in the same group after side effects from chemotherapy affected my hormones. During my first visit, he would ask a question and then interrupt me before I finish speaking to speak to me in a condescending tone. That tone continued after the pharmacy and his own front desk staff gave me contradictory instructions for a new medication and when he called and I was anxious, I was again spoken to with absolutely no sensitivity, only more condescending. After 8 weeks of taking this new medication after being told that we'd follow up with a more permanent solution, my appointment was cancelled as he was in surgery (understandably). When the front desk called to reschedule, I asked if I would need blood work first to avoid an unnecessary in-person visit and wasn't given any other option than to reschedule an appointment
